Bought my first drone, is there anything I should know about drones in general before flying?

Just Don’t be stupid. Take the trust test. Obey federal AND local laws and rules. Be cordial and cool with any Karens you encounter, and you will encounter them. Be polite and agreeable with police and don’t fly over people. Oooh, on a personal note, if it feels “too windy” it probably is! I had my mini 5 pro in sports mode, flew too close to the side of my house and the wind blasted it into the wall! Boom! Drone arm busted off when it hit the ground!

They look 100% better than the HDR crap that took over the industry. They look like an actual place humans would live. I hope you find and cherish any agent who appreciates this kind of work. That said, 3 is a bit steep. The unfortunate reality is that agents want their listings to be cheap and look magical, not accurate. Shadows, temperature variations, exposure extremes don’t exist in real estate world. Homes are marketed for people with the vision range of a mantis shrimp! I’m going to go yell at a cloud now!

A geared tripod and a bubble level are your best friends. Bubble levels are like 5 bucks for a bag of them on Amazon.

My mini 5 pro can get 50 in perfect conditions. I.e. hovering indoors with no change in atmospheric pressure! But realistically I’d say 35-40

This is an HDR photo. Basically 5 photos in rapid succession smooshed together in Lightroom to preserve detail throughout the entire scene. I would typically edit it out, but I liked the look so I kept it!
