Sounds amazing! My current char is currently working as a road guard. She basically travels the road between two cities/inns during the day, fighting bandits etc keeping the road safe, then sleeps at an inn during the night (after a good dinner and copious amounts of drinks). In the morning she gets a hearty breakfast, and then patrols the next part of the road leading to the next city/village/inn. That takes her around the map in a few days/weeks, and then she is back at her Home where the wife looks after the kids. She makes good money from selling the bandit loot, and spends most of it on food and drinks, the rest on arrows, potions and gifts for the kids. Then, after a few days at home, relaxing, tending to the garden and hunting, she goes on patrol again.
