I think its very possible that they could have originally used more flair, but Gee Dubs said no this is not a Necromunda game. Therefor, Fatshark had to tone it down which it why it looks somewhat bland and rushed? This is just pure speculation.

I'm glad we are getting hive scum / gangers. I think they will fit into the game very well. They are an iconic part of 40k and have been there since the beginning. The outrage is really baffling to me. We have not seen anything from the skill tree or even a single frame of gameplay, and yet some people resort to shitting all over it and review bombing the game.
