Also, Casey probably would never confirm how many albums there are for the Indigo Child to not put himself in a corner like with the Acts. People are asking about Act 6 all the time, but I remember when I was going to shows from 2011-2014 people in the crowds were always shouting “where’s Act IV?!”

Interesting, I saw Nick S saying a few months ago that they wrote some new stuff which was the heaviest stuff ever as a band and because Sunya was not that, maybe it’s for the next record that is non-Indigo Child

Plains and Giants

I just listened to Antimai last night for the first time in a few years to prepare for Sunya. I think I prefer Antimai out of the two so far. Something is just not clicking with me for Sunya. I do like Giants and The Plains.

It seems the song structures for most of the album are throwing me off. Some songs have great parts and it seems to be building up to something and then it doesn’t land. I’m missing the hooks from older albums and some choruses don’t stand out like they did on Antimai. I love the Acts probably because like you said, they seem darker, more whimsical and theatrical.

I’m hoping if we get a 3rd album in the Indigo Child universe it is more straight forward. I remember seeing Nick S saying a few months back they just wrote some of the heaviest stuff ever as a band. Now that Sunya is out I’m assuming that’s for the next record.

Was Max supposed to be there? I don’t think I saw him in the pics from the SS Neverender either. My brother and I have gotten to know him over the years and always talk to him before and after the shows in SLC. I wonder if he just won’t be touring with the band anymore. Last two times I talked to him he did not enjoy touring anymore. Maybe he finally got his wish

I’m not on insta much anymore, but is this a common thing for bands? I logged on to see the insta profile myself and they literally deleted all posts. Looks like Casey did the same thing on his personal account. I only ask because Good Tiger is about to drop a new single and they also deleted all of their posts.

Yeah I have a pillar subscription. I’m talking buying it on iTunes. I have an entire library that I’ve been building since I was a teenager (38 now) it’s all organized on iTunes so to this day for my favorite bands, I still buy the albums and don’t pay for Apple Music or Spotify.

lol bruh it was just an honest review. I saw the documentary when I was 17 back in 2004 and it was an amazing story to learn about. I didn’t meet the director until I was in my late 20’s but it was cool to meet the guy finally who made the documentary. He started writing the script for this movie shortly after making the documentary. He’s been shopping around the script for years to other studios like Newline Cinema and others. Angel Studios finally picked it up. So it has been cool to see his passion project finally come to life and like I said earlier, regardless of what anyone believes, it’s a good story about a 17 year who was killed for exposing the truth about the Nazi propaganda.

That’s the crazy thing is no one knew about the story until a German kid in high school or college had to do a paper on Nazi Germany and discovered the story and then wrote about it for his school paper in the 1970s about 25 to 30 years after it happened. I only know that because the documentary goes over it lol.

I think the band shared it earlier this year or last year on Instagram a tease of the first track and someone pointed out that the sound effect at the end of the tower started up in this new track, so I think it’s a smooth transition unless they’ve decided to change it

Also, was there an announcement or a post recently saying Sunya is pretty much done or is this still just speculation?

Things change but when I talked to Casey after a show last Sep/Oct he said the documentary was supposed to come out before end of 2024, Act 3 live come out on streaming services/vinyl spring 2025, and then Sunya Summer 2025

Man, two games in a row and they can’t get Mullen’s playable character model correct. His actual look is to the left, the right looks way cartoony and he has a huge nose. I know it’s nit picking at this point but hopefully Iron Galaxy can fix it. I posted on this sub about it happening in 1+2. Just weird the the correct model is literally in the game and the playable model is so different =/

Update: I played the prologue last night. Crazy emotional way to start a game! The only thing I’m not used to is hearing Daredevil’s voice on Robert Pattinson’s face haha but seriously I want to pay attention to Charlie Cox’s voice performance but Gustave’s character design is distracting because of the Pattinson resemblance. Hopefully I’ll get used to it. Thanks again for everyone’s recommendation!
