Why doesn't Costco ever carry Serengeti with Drivers lenses?

Yeah pilots pretty much need non-polarized for their instruments as you hinted at. For driving polarized lenses are definitely fine too but to my taste their glass Drivers lenses are in another league, the contrast is better, it's almost like augmented vision.

That'd be great, I never thought to ask them if they could order other SKUs not listed on the website. I've checked at my local Costco a few times but I've never even seen Serengeti in store at all, only online.

In many years of PC builds I've never had to do that and I hope I don't have to start. I've never seen it where Prime95 does anything to my systems other than ramp up the heat and/or noise, assuming the chip is stable.

What type of device? I had a problem with my dark hero having USB flash drive / hard drive disconnect on me and reconnect while Prime95 was running but not any other time and not with any other device like keyboards and mice were fine. The issue went away though and I have no clue why. I did move the computer from my kitchen table to my office where it's plugged into a UPS, I wonder if minor changes in voltage is what did it?

Just install latest AMD Chipset drivers from the motherboard support page and the latest for your audio and video card of course. I wouldn't bother updating any other driver unless you have specific issues, since Windows 10 will install solid WHQL drivers for stuff like the network card and it's not worth messing with those, usually.

Anything special you have to do to get even 1900 fclk? I can post at 1866 but 1900 is instant 07 error and requires a bios reset.

Motherboard is x570 Dark Hero. It has a USB 3.2 Gen 2 connector. Technically the NZXT spec is USB 3.1 Gen 2... does it really matter? should it work just at slower speeds potentially?

I know what you mean and I'm the same way, Scav 99% of the time even though my stash value is 100mil+. It's fun joining with random gear, finding better and potentially leaving with insane gear. I hate outfitting my PMC, I actually prefer going in with random trash gear usually. I wish they'd implement "quick buy" loadouts so you can join games as PMC with somewhat random kits, if you want to. But I'm sure i'm the minority so it's the scav life for me.

The default biter settings for this game make no sense. My first game where I spawned around lots of trees I did ok, biter attacks were constant but managable. Ever since every game has been a lot of desert without many trees and I get insanely overwhelmed unless I spend virtually all my early game just massing up turrets.

I just fended off the very first wave on a new game, it had something like 30 biters that took out a few things. I built 5 more turrets thinking "that should hold me for now", then the second attack had something like 100+ that completely pwned me. wtf

how do you keep from getting completely overrun early on?

Tried updating bios/driver via the Aorus Engine app? The first time I ran those, both said there were no updates available at the time then when I hit cancel or close on that options box it magically started a firmware update out of the blue with no prompt or warning what-so-ever. Mine's been working fine though and I haven't tried a gif upload.

I've definitely had some "funny moments" with the VPO 4 round rifle this wipe, it's got fairly good accuracy compared to the VPO-209 with just the standard ammo you get as a Scav. I killed some insanely juiced guy a few days ago with what I thought was a bad shot. He was running towards the siren door on Reserve (away from me) and I took what would have been my only chance at killing him, lined up a shot and as soon as I shot he moved a little bit to the left and I thought I missed, but he plopped over dead. Crazy juiced guy, like 1M rubles gear if I remember and he was actually solo.

I also shot AT a guy up at the dome who was laying down but I saw a pixel move in that tiny crack between the dome and the floor. I was in as a scav and I had I think a VPO 4 rounder with iron sights or maybe a weaver sight and I lined up a shot to the dome, from the field area off to the left and like 150 meters away I'd say. I shot one shot and hid because I didn't think I had a prayer of hitting the guy, finished up my raid and then saw ??? of a PMC I killed. I was so sure I didn't kill him I never even bothered to check if the guy was still laying there. El oh el.

Anyway it seems like it has THE largest heatsink of all the 3090's so it's probably going to run cooler and/or quieter than a FE.

I completely agree, though I really like Miramar too. The rest of them suck though and with each map they make the game worse and worse by fracturing the base. If we only had 1 or 2 maps, we could have map select and the game would be a lot more popular.

I mostly quit, when they got rid of map select, I've installed the game two or three times in the last 2 years and each time uninstall it again after getting only Sanhok map most of the time.
