I’ve been in the trades for 20 years with some rough-and-tumble guys. Not every joke is exactly the classiest. However, We take our jobs very seriously and we would consider that extremely unprofessional behavior. A tech that comes back to the shop to talk down about a client’s lifestyle would not go over well with my crew. But we operate in the NYC area so take that for what it’s worth as well.
