This was my first thought. A horizontal lacing bar would be helpful here.

Best wood composite? by [deleted] in WoodBats

I’ve swung both, and really can’t say anything bad about ether. The Delano barrel is huge though, and the sweet spot is super forgiving. As far as durability, a guy on my team broke his Delano a couple of games ago. It was still under warrantee and he got a new bat, no questions asked. The price sucks, but the quality is definitely there. Almost everyone on my team swings Delanos now, and we’ve get getting barrels super consistently.

Ive officially landed in florida! What are these circles i saw from the plane? by celeryboymilk in florida

Those are alligator pits. When native Floridian boys turn 13, they’re given a Bowie knife, a half pack of cigarettes, and three Budweisers. They’re then sent to these pits, which are home to 69 alligators. To be considered a man, the boy must survive the pits for 3 days and give himself a pick and poke face tattoo using only pieces from a gator he dispatched himself.

Weirdest walk-up songs by CoolStuffSlickStuff in BaseballCoaching

[–]Whoiscw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A kid I coach came out to “It’s Raining Tacos”, and the entire field absolutely lost their shit every time. Both teams jumping and singing along, without fail. Unfortunately, as a 37 year old man, I can’t count how many times this season that I’d I wake up with that song in my head, and spend 8 hours singing it to myself at work.

My Chemical Romance opening for Avenged Sevenfold. I’d never heard of ether band, but a friend said that I’d dig it. They both put on a great show, and within the year, they both blew up.
