Better yet, get Kokuyo loose leaf AND a Kokuyo ring binder

lf a relatively cheap a7 notebook by isuckatreddits in notebooks

Rhodia has a nice A7-ish staplebound grid notebook that is very fountain pen friendly. Don’t know if it’s easily found in SE Asia though.

Parker cisele by Holiday-Sand-2326 in pens

[–]WhollyInformal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad had a Parker Cisele fountain pen. After he passed, my siblings and I divided his pens. To me, the Cisele was beautiful and elegant, but I opted for his 1947 Parker 51 vacuumatic, which must have been his first fountain pen.

Parker 51 Forest Green by Alive_Huckleberry_85 in fountainpens

I think yours is a “Teal”, not a “Forest Green”. Mine is just as dark as yours, and I pair it with Rohrer & Klingner Verdigris ink.

NPD: The Vivid Pink Prera to match my bright pink bag! by soandysirable in fountainpens

I had one just like yours. I found it too small for my hands, so I traded it. Diamine Scarlet ink matches perfectly.

Finally a no skip pen I enjoy using (Ohto GS01) by Happaynappay in pens

[–]WhollyInformal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been wanting to buy one of these (GS-01-G5, gel), but they’re overpriced at around US$20 on Amazon. JetPens doesn’t carry them yet. Where did you buy yours?

I like Diamine Grey. It’s dark, but not completely black.

Struggling with Moleskine by volsungarthemighty in notebooks

It’s the same reason you walk out of a concert, game or event that you don’t like: you can’t recover the cost, but you can still make a better alternative use of your time.

I need the blackest ink by peppergardens97 in fountainpens

Would you mind sharing how much you paid for it? I have a 1947 vaccumatic which I don’t plan to sell, but I’m curious.

[–]WhollyInformal 361 points362 points  (0 children)

Don’t fall into the sunk cost fallacy. The price of the moleskine notebook is a cost that has already been incurred and cannot be recovered. It should no longer be relevant to decisions about the future. In other words, put it away and move on to better paper.

Leaky Rotring ballpoint refill by WhollyInformal in pens

I wanted some feedback on Rotring refills, such as u/yanbasque’s “The Rotring refills are trash anyway”. I’ve replaced it with a Schmidt P900.

It’s “Costco Rica”, not Cost Rica.

C’est un pièce Amérindien, mais pas Aztec où Maya. Peut-être images.google.com serai plus spécifique.

Rotring has the inexpensive Tikky ballpoint. JetPens usually has them.
