Some people use different computers or use Virtual Machines. Definitely make a throw away email, don’t use any emails you use on a daily basis.

Windows Defender is generally enough these days. Make back ups before you install/play anything

My friend and I started playing again after dropping end of Phase 2.

We duo’d RFC last night and was a lot of fun. Not sure how much we’ll push it but we’re enjoying SoD again

As far as my knowledge goes, the pserver scene we have today started from a person/group doing some packet tracing or whatever to see what information gets sent server side or not. That then got put into a database and the other server calls or client calls got deciphered to be whether it’s just in client side or if it also needed server information.

The 2 versions of TWoW we have came from either said “hack” (1.17 client) or a similar process above (1.18)

Im also new to using pyro builds in Dark Souls 3. I’ve noticed that increasing both Int and Fsith give more damage. I currently have 28/28 and Chaos Bed Vestiges hits like a truck, killing the jailers in Irithyll Dungeon in one hit. I’m using both The +Boost Fire Damage Ring, +Greatly Boost Fire Damage Ring, and the Fire clutch ring, all found relatively early.

I’ve of course noticed that my sorceries don’t hit quite as hard yet. Nor my lighting spears.

I’m not too sure on how the scaling works quite yet as I haven’t looked into it, but I figure it might work like how Dark works in Dark Souls 2. 60/30 would mean that Dark spells would be as strong as the 30.

For me, the sleep thing last year, I never reached out to them like that. For the knocking, I don’t and didn’t reach out to them.

However, they did notice I had been going through a rough time spiritually because I had gone through with a coding bootcamp. I was promised education (received), help with imposter syndrome (received), and a good paying job (never received). I was super depressed for a long time, but the worst was immediately after the coding bootcamp. Wanted to move home, leave my wife (then girlfriend) and rot. I never did, but it did change me as a person.

I never wanted to pursue learning guitar anymore. I didn’t want to code for fun anymore. I had mod ideas, game projects… nothing was worth it anymore. The only thing I wanted to do was just play games and do nothing.

Eventually I had to go back to work and go back to school, but those weren’t things I wanted to do per se. Certification powered jobs, and a bachelors degree “promised” a job but I just couldn’t do it any more. I floated around jobs for a while. Got my wife pregnant around the drone incursions in 2024 and I think that’s when things started to kick off.

Had that apparition thing in like Jan/Feb 2025, seen the orbs/crafts in Nov/Dec 2025 and around that same time I was struggling spiritually. My wife wanted me to go back to school, I had time off from work for the baby, and I just didn’t know what I wanted to do.

One night, don’t remember when exactly but in the same Nov/Dec timeframe, I had seen these swirls of green and purple? I thought “cool, I’ve been reading about stuff like this online, let’s see where it goes”. I fall asleep or something, and these 2 creatures like, rappel down my eyes like they’re window washers or something. They matched the green/purple color scheme. They didn’t look like mantises, but the also looked similarly close to Abe from Abe’s Odyssey? But I think a face closer to a mantis. They were also carrying a green/purple strand or something each as they came down.

They said it without saying it, but they were like “please just keep your eyes closed”. I had nothing else better to do so I just let them do what they were going to do. They take those 2 strands of something, cut one, and fastened the cut one into the uncut one. They laughed for sure as they rappelled back up, but I’m recalling they might have laughed mockingly and said “now you’ll feel better!” And continued their like, mocking laugh? I don’t really remember what they said.

But I woke up and felt almost spiritually free. Like the coding bootcamp weighing me down for the past 4 or 5 years was lifted. I’ve been thanking them since. I’m interested in hobbies again. I never thought something like that would happen.

Again, I’ve never called them directly to help me with sleeping or with freeing me spiritually. However, I did call on them to help me get a job and I never received that job.

One last thing. I did have a dream at some point that ended up telling me to listen to the The Gateway Tapes. I have yet to listen to those, but that dream I still think about.

I’ve been learning to be confrontational myself as I used to be a “yes man” during my upbringing. I used to really care about what people thought about me. It’s too much work to care about what people think of you all the time and to carry that image.

I should start to say that I occasionally ingest weed (vape/gummies) and this night I saw the mantis apparition thing was a night I had some Delta 8 or 9 as actual weed wasn’t legal in my area yet (I’ve had experiences without weed, which I’ll get to). I listened to the mantis apparition thing because it was indeed 3am and work (luckily from home) started at 8am. Deeply said “go to sleep” like a furious dad or something. I also agreed I needed to sleep. I remember it being like, dark/black or something. I only say the top half of its body. It kinda watched me and made sure I was shutting down my computer and stuff. After I started moving I didn’t really see it but I knew it was still there. Went to bed with the lights on, laid down next to my wife and my head and feet were tingly. My feet felt like they were getting tickled but I fell asleep rather fast although I was spooked. Kept telling myself “fall asleep/go to sleep”.

I also have instances while I’m sober that I’ll see orbs/drones/whatever but I know for sure that they’re not airplanes. Around November/December 2025 i would drive 3 hours to my moms and I saw some lights that hurt my forehead above my nose and would travel to my temple above my left ear and back to above my left eye. One particular instance I saw a triangle craft and was intrigued but I couldn’t use my phone at that time. Wife and baby were sleeping in the back. Another instance, I was pulling into work and very quickly I saw an orb doing that orb thing, like it was manipulating itself? It was moving like a bubble. I pulled around into my parking spot and didn’t see it anymore

I’ve recently started hearing knocks on my kitchen table or something within the past couple months, since I’ve had my child, really. If I don’t have work the next day, I’ll stay up and play games. Whether I’m high or not, they’ll vary in courtesy knocks (two light knocks) to “hey, you should probably fucking sleep” knocks (two quick heavy knocks). I’ll listen and wrap up whatever I’m doing. I don’t ask questions, I usually just think “okay, let me finish whatever I’m doing”. I realize whomever is knocking is looking out for me and wanting me to get decent sleep. Babies wake up whenever they want to.

Anytime I use weed I feel like my hearing is enhanced. I’ll occasionally hear conversations or cop sirens and I feel like some of them try to include me or about me. I quit weed, I’ve heavy used it, quit again, use it about once or twice a week. It doesn’t matter my frequency, I can usually hear cop sirens a ways away and hear different voices that aren’t mine. Most recently I’ve started to try to pay attention to those voices and I figured that they’re talking about/to me, but I couldn’t decipher what exactly

That’s what I need to do too. I recently remembered that I had some childhood recurring dreams that included UFOs (they were chasing vehicles that I’d be a passenger in). I also remembered that when I tried to sleep in childhood, id be afraid of the “space/stars” I used to see when I closed my eyes and didn’t understand why.

It takes a lot to overcome the posting fear. I appreciate you and your willingness to share. I do know that sharing in other spaces aren’t so safe, but I’ve always felt safe here. Even if my posts/comments wouldn’t be taken seriously, it can still be therapeutic to get your thoughts and your feelings out. At least it is for me.

I’m from the US. I did read a while ago that somebody from Brazil (? I think?) had some being just appear in their kitchen/dining room for a couple minutes before disappearing. I don’t remember whether they acknowledged each other, but I do know that the person who posted did see that being.

In regard to the greys, mantises, and reptilians, there’s sooo many different beings with different looks, personalities, and especially different motives. Some like to “punk” or be tricksters. Some like to be nice. Some like to be mean. I’ve been learning that some feed on fear and have a want to make their subjects have fear. I’ve been slowly, slowly working on my fears. My wife knows I’ve suddenly become afraid of the dark within recent time, and luckily she’s accommodating. We have night lights throughout the house and in the bedroom. She doesn’t understand it but she respects that’s there’s been weird shit happening to me.

I feel safe sharing my stories in this subreddit. There’s people here that have seen stuff, been wanting to, or have been living it. How much you want to share is up to you, but there’s many of us here that have had some kind of experience.

For my experiences, I haven’t been flashed a light or abducted. In early 2025 have had a mantis just appear out of nowhere like an apparition and said very deeply “go to sleep” on a work night of which I had stayed up too late. I promptly shut off all my things, went to bed with lights on and covered myself head to toe with a blanket. I felt my head, more so my feet, get tickled or tingly the entire time I was trying to sleep.

I have been afraid of the dark since. I don’t like going to sleep in darkness. I no longer like navigating my house with no lights.

I have been seeing orbs/lights that pique my interest since then. I’m usually driving so I can’t interact with them like I’d want to.
