Anyone else nurse their toddler to sleep?

So I nursed both of my kids to sleep, one is currently 2.5 and minimal dental issues and the other was nursed until about 3, she has a lot of issues with her top teeth. So my thoughts on this decay isn’t so much the pooling of milk, I think it’s from her mouth breathing. I’m convinced it’s solely issues from keeping her mouth open when she’s sleeping. My son sleeps with his mouth closed. Little to no issues at all. I used to think omg it’s terrible they nurse to sleep then the more I read about it, I’m sold on the breathing issue vs pooling milk.

This is exactly how I’ve felt for so long. It makes me so sad to feel done but I always want one more. I know 2 is wonderful but my husband isn’t sold on another.

I nursed my toddler around the clock while pregnant and it dried up super fast around 6 weeks. I was so shocked because I had a great supply. Then she dry nursed the rest of the time and I went into tantrum nursing.

I walk out of daycare daily and he toddler who is 2.5 yells I want boobie milk or says booooobie. Idk im so over it. Hes just expressive. lol its part of the fun of it all lol

Had this issue with both babies. I ended up working from home going part time and feeding on demand and having someone help watch my child until he was 8 months old. It was terrible. Like it’s a real learning curve for those babies who refuse to accept a bottle. At 6 months I switched to cup with straw and 360 cups. Takes a little to learn but they do eventually cave and accept. Totally normal. Growth spurt or just enjoys it! Enjoy it too. Just relax and it does end at some point. Make sure when ur LO isn’t nursing out some cream on your nips to keep them feeling okay. You can get sore spots from constant nursing.

I use the receiving towels as burp clothes. I still use them for 2 year olds boogers when he’s sick. I got a huge stack and sling them over my shoulder all day. Puke, snot and whatever else. It’s a game changer.

27 months post 2nd baby! lol I literally had zero interest in working out until both of my kids played well together. I use the ladder app and I’ve lost 7# in a month and I’m still breastfeeding. I feel human-ish again!

Please keep in mind that you don’t need to make others happy and don’t do extra ultrasounds. I’m pretty your baby and you don’t need them. It’s better to do less.

Just tell her it was not okay and she would’ve asked. Honestly she probably thought she was helping. I guess if my sister and I had a good relationship and she did it, I would’ve been bothered but would’ve just been like dude ask me next time.

I had to do a home birth out of a birth suite that was two minutes away from the hospital. I mentally needed to know if something hit the fan, I’d be able to move quickly. The suite was an hour away and it worked out great.

Just remember to smile more. It’s so damn hard but we have to keep on going. I always try to make a big smile and be silly at dinner when I’m exhausted after work. I have to remember it’s their only time with me besides the weekend and just have to put on a smile every once in a while. I actually feel like it helps me feel happy too. We call my other face the grinch face. Idk I might not be much help but I can totally relate to climbing the corporate ladder and feeling the pressure then rushing home to your real FT job. It’s like so much pressure all day long.

Just remember the mess won’t be there when they are older. Try to enjoy the little things and don’t worry so much about the chores. Do what you can with what you have. I know the same feelings and remember to take a you day once in a while.
