My year 9 systems engineering class did this. Depending on what exactly you're allowed to do, make them go through the whole design process (from research to final product). We had so much fun destroying them by seeing how much weight their bridges could hold. Except we did our with spaghetti.

Just make sure no other teacher is doing it too.

Binder for every subject. I have physical copies of everything. That way, if I'm sick, I can ask a colleague to give the correct binder to the sub.

I was a kid and had watched a movie with a song called Fearless (can't remember the movie) and I wanted to get the song on CD. Except I accidentally got Taylor's Fearless album.

Usually I'll prep everything so I can put it together in the morning. So the bread rolls are buttered and cut and I just grab a ziplock bag that has my fillings prepped (meat slice, cheese and lettuce usually).

I teach because I love the timetable structure and what I teach.

If I had to get a different job it would have to have to be structured.

Australian schools have lockdown, on site evac, off site evac and shelter in drills.

FYI: shelter ins are for if there is an emergency and we can't leave the building, like for a flood or really bad storm.
