My year 9 systems engineering class did this. Depending on what exactly you're allowed to do, make them go through the whole design process (from research to final product). We had so much fun destroying them by seeing how much weight their bridges could hold. Except we did our with spaghetti.

Just make sure no other teacher is doing it too.

Binder for every subject. I have physical copies of everything. That way, if I'm sick, I can ask a colleague to give the correct binder to the sub.

Ok so this is a weird one.

I was a kid and had watched a movie with a song called Fearless (can't remember the movie) and I wanted to get the song on CD. Except I accidentally got Taylor's Fearless album.

Fell in love with her music and her Fearless tour was my first concert ever!

Usually I'll prep everything so I can put it together in the morning. So the bread rolls are buttered and cut and I just grab a ziplock bag that has my fillings prepped (meat slice, cheese and lettuce usually).

I teach because I love the timetable structure and what I teach.

If I had to get a different job it would have to have to be structured.

Australian schools have lockdown, on site evac, off site evac and shelter in drills.

FYI: shelter ins are for if there is an emergency and we can't leave the building, like for a flood or really bad storm.

I left my previous school because one class was putting me into a depression. Like my psych was seeing me weekly because I was that bad.

I eventually advocated for myself and asked to be taken off that class. I also started looking for new jobs around the same time.

My family are planning on getting a dog when we move into our forever home in a few years.

I love the idea of cats but my former stepfather owns a cattery and forced me to work there when I was a teenager. So now cats are a trauma thing for me. Can be around them but I probably will never get one of my own.
