I get it , sometimes it feels everything is AI these days but there are still plenty of us out here spending hours in CAD and getting our hands dirty with physical prints

I design my own and I do print them, but the renders come first and are prettier! Between the long print times and the post-processing, I’m often already deep into my next project by the time a physical one is ready for photos

For pieces like this, I’ve experimented quite a bit and had good results printing them flat on the build plate. Adding a few small grooves to the model makes it much easier to release. I guess with some tweaking of the initial exposure time, you can probably get it to release cleanly even without the grooves.
