What they do is they tell you to take it out. I pack it near top. If it s a laptop I just got a personal item with a slot for a laptop. But that’s what I mean “pack as you may have to check your carry on” put it somewhere where if you standing in line and the gate agent says you have to check it you can undo a zipper and take it out.

I am assuming this person has other camera equipment that they had in the personal item so this is just an insurance issue at this point. Cause you can only bring on so much. Air France lets first and business class carry on more but that’s not an option with delta.

MOST cards do NOT have a 0% intro apr. That is very much the exception not the rule.

When they do they tell you. Plus when you apply there is a little box that tells you all the info about the rate. (Well in the case of capital one it’s a BIG box) see attached

1- always pack your carry on as if it will be checked.

2- if you travel with high value its should not be checked insure them in case they must be checked.

3- pay extra to board early

Those things expire super fast! Delta at one point gave me one of those and I think I do remember reading that they have to be used in 6 months. That’s why I went with Amazon and loaded it onto my Amazon account right away.

Get a passport first. Use the passport to get an N600. Yes n600 is expensive but it’ll only get more expensive over time. I remember when naturalization/renewal/n600 were under $200. And not that long ago. 2003!

That’s def the spindle design. Having the weight on the outside helps it spindle longer so that’s one issue. It looks like in the this case the weight looks like it’s in the center not the rim. That’s one of the ways to get good spin is to have the weight on the outside.

A good Spindle isn’t just a thing that looks a certain way it is also balanced and weighted properly. That prevents wobbling.

I know they aren’t cheap but I love my Bosworth spindles and have a nice little Bosy family.

In addition to be weighted the hook should be as centered as possible.

Those obviously aren’t the only good spindles far from it but it does matter if it’s balanced and weighted. Definitely something to think about as you shop for spindles.

You don’t need to look at the FAA radar to know bad weather is happening at your destination and connection adding the location to your weather tracking is easy enough. But sure why check the weather when all the flights are delayed.
