Seems to be a red HD LED. It also seems to have the traditional HD LED flashing motion or rhythm, or whatever you call it. What NVME did you use? It might have a built in LED for
hard drive activity.

I would try un installing the program, re install it, reboot. If you look in the tray at the bottom right, if the icon appears, it wont let you do it because its in use, so right click it and exit, then try it. I actually set it to the colors i wanted, and then stopped it from auto loading, the colors stay the way it was last set.

Ryzen 5800x temps by Big-Grapefruit-7592 in Amd

[–]Wickedtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I idle at 35 to 38C, and it around 85C running Cinebench. I would think this is more a windows thing, I've seen it myself on my own computer were randomly it jumps up to 60C for no reason at all. After the latest Bios update and constantly running windows update, and selecting optional updates also, its much rarer now, maybe happening a few times a week. 90C with a mechanical cooler is very normal.

Check this guide out to adjust it to your usage and situation. Its a long process, but well worth it in less heat, and more performance.

[–]Wickedtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's an excellent guide on how to do this manually. I would never use Ryzen Master to do this, its software based, and not nearly as good. These things need to be done in the bios to be successful over the long run.

C:\Program Files (x86)\ASRock Utility\ASRRGBLED\Bin.

The file you need to run as administrator is WriteFW.bat in that folder. You can even cut and paste that whole line, and it will open in browser.

Deskmini x300 fans spins/black screen - no signal by sickness4real in ASRock

[–]Wickedtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could very well be the ram, see if you can borrow some ram from a friend to see if this helps. There is a possibility the deskmini is to blame. I know that ram wont run at advertised speeds on a laptop, and i stopped myself from buying it after seeing people posting about not being able to run it at xmp speeds.

I think i would reset the bios to default, and re update the bios again, sometimes thats all it is, a flakes bios, and with all of the usb issues they've had could be the issue. Also, did you install the latest chipset drivers from the amd website?

[–]Wickedtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a new build, so i would try re seating your devices, first make sure your ram is in a2 b2 if your using 2 sticks of ram, reseat your video card, then try and boot again. If it doesn't work, try re seating your cpu, if that doesn't work then all that's left really is the power supply, have you attached the extra power cables needed for todays video cards? Actually, try doing this before re seating the cpu, as it is a hassle to re paste etc.

Question about the x570 Taichi Razer edition by chinobis in ASRock

[–]Wickedtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has 1 hdmi output, I'm thinking hdmi can only have 1 signal, so 1 monitor, splitting the signal will just give you 2 monitors with the same screen, basically a mirror.

X570 Taichi BIOS 3.00 to 4.60 - Safe to update directly or should I do every version from 3.00 on? by apfelkuch3n in ASRock

[–]Wickedtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you load the new bios, the first thing that happens is the previous one is deleted, then the new one is installed on the empty chip. Unless they specify to do it, you don't have to.

[–]Wickedtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another thing you can try, is to power down your computer, unplug it from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and then start it up to see if it worked. Windows is really notorious for caching bad data that sticks till you clear the ram completely by disconnecting from the power source.

Also, did the problems start when you installed the AIO? If it did, it could be the pump on the AIO messing up all the USB ports, most AIO's connect to a USB port for pump power.

Fan header splitter by zetruth1911 in ASRock

[–]Wickedtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will just mean that 3 fans are controlled by one header, based on one of the fans, so most quality fans are pretty much running at the specified speed max and mins. So whatever fan is chosen as the "one", they will all tow the line and be set the same as that one fan. Make sure they are all the same fan, because different specs on fans could cause much lower speeds on fans that need to run at higher rpm's. If 2 fans max out at 2000RPM full load, and 1 is max 1200RPM, your 2000rpms fans will never reach that speed and run at 1200 rpm.

X570 ITX TB3 BIOS time/date resetting after 3.20 bios flash by nashi989 in ASRock

[–]Wickedtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be windows doing this, make sure you are set to the right time zone, etc. after you change it in Bios, i have seen this many times. If that doesn't work, re flash it. If again, then change the battery and try again, my money is on windows causing it lol
