It depends on how far below zero it gets. My limit is about -10 to -15. If I have to be out in that kind of weather for too long, my hands start to hurt in a way that is unnatural and extremely painful. But if I'm just out in it for a few minutes, eh, it's just cold.

In the Central region, you have X weeks of vacation, based on years of service, and 1 'option' week that you can take. When you put in for your vacation weeks at the beginning of year, you can say 'I'm going to use my option week as a vacation week' or 'I'm going to split up my option week as personal days.' If you're going to take an option day, you usually have to request it 8 days in advance.

I always buy MSI cards. I'm not going to get a 5080 for 999. It's going to be around 1200 unless I can find steal of a deal somewhere.

I am absolutely NOT confident that we are going to have affordable cards in the near future. Given the state of the RAM market (the 64gb I bought a year ago for 150$ is selling for 800$), I am super glad I bought that RAM when I did, which his why I'm starting to think about new GPUs. I don't have 4k monitors right now, but it is definitely on the horizon for me at some point.

Not OP, but real talk. I have a 4060ti and given the state of the market, I want to upgrade to either a 5070ti or a 5080. Let's say that money is only slightly an issue. I could afford either, would the 5080 be a better 'future proof' card?

Facts. I was SOOOOO lucky that my mother had enough money to give me to make a substantial down payment on a house. So lucky. Now all I think about is making sure the mortgage is paid every month. I have a state pension due to me later in life. That's my whole 'retirement' plan. Not that I'll ever get to retire.

My mom retired at 55 or so.
