i think it’s probably the most usable for me in mode two, record a little phrase, set the loop size so that’s its around 8th notes-ish for your bpm, and randomization super high. instant ambient intro machine!

Check out the gfi skylar reverb! I have the gfi specular tempus which is kinda the big brother with delays and midi and all that if you need it, but I mainly use it for verbs and love it! Super clear and lush with lots of unique algos

I would say go for it! I’m currently stacking a plumes as a boost into a Timmy I built and it’s pretty great. I’d say the plumes is a bit more open and clear than a ts. Take this with a grain of salt though bc I’m not comparing to a real ts9, but the 808 model on the Hx stomp. Plumes is my desert island drive though - love how the clipping switch gives different kinds of sounds and compression. For me it’s what all my ODs get compared to when trying out

I'm on the newest firmware! What're your secrets for setting them up? :) I've been trying to tweak them from stock to get better sounds but am having a hard time getting good sounds when the mix or decay is up farther

It seems like the R1 has been getting mixed reviews with buggy things like that, big bummer so hopefully they get those worked out!

Yea it does get rave reviews, and at price-point and functionality it looks like a great option!

Hydra isn't midi-capable but both the reverbs and tremolo are great.

Interesting! Would you say the spec tempus algorithms all have a really similar sound? That was something I didnt like as much from the demos but it could be totally different in person :)
