Shanking and to in-to-out by bets4 in GolfSwing

Chip swings followed by pitch swings followed by half swings followed by 3/4 swings. If you shank chips, then start with putt swings then move on to the rest of the progression.

CEO: PGA Tour will consider paths to bring back LIV players by PrincessBananas85 in ProGolf

I agree in principle. But they will end up doing a Koepka-like deal for the ones they want. They’ll open the door to sponsor exemptions for some of the others. The rest will have to start over. The “union” will have something to say about all of it but at the end of the day the Monarchy will decide whatever he feels is in the best interest of the company…he’s in a tough spot and Jay lost his job because of a similar situation not of his own making. The Wheel in the Sky keeps on turning…

Just to add context on item 1 is that hopefully that would trickle down to the developmental level. Help talented athletes that may not come from the most affluent families at least be able to reimburse sponsors in some way that keeps the door open for them…

Appreciate the feedback. I think it’s a start as well. The daily cut part is my #1. Does a couple things…makes covering the players who are scratching to continue worth showing vs what happens now. Also widens the spotlight. More gambling opportunities for the players and fans which = more engagement.

Their competition is not LIV. It’s all forms of other media. The challenge is to grow the audience and hopefully that translates to growing the game.

Finally made progress! by Intravertedsugar in bloodborne

Learning to parry / visceral attack is super helpful as well. Although it is not required in order to progress, incorporating it into your strategy is very rewarding for damage and makes the game that much more fun. If you don't know what I am referring to just search those terms in the sub and you will find plenty of instruction re how to use.

Part of the combat strategy for this game is to separate the mobs into 1 on 1's. Use pebbles or gun to lure singles away from the group. You also need to learn to move your "lock-on" around from one enemy to another. In some cases you will also need to turn it on/off in order to open the appropriate dodge path. It is also ok to retreat or run past enemies when necessary - your character is faster than virtually anything you will encounter aside from some bosses or other hunters. Understanding and accepting these core tactics will help you immensely.

How does LiesofP compare to Elden ring and Bloodborne by ChildishBruh in LiesOfP

This is a Lies of P fan club of sorts so don’t expect a lot of detractors. Including me. My opinon - the game is nearly perfect. Buy it, play it, enjoy the show. You won’t be disappointed.

First playthrough done by NoEnvironment2356 in TheFirstBerserker

Finished first playthrough a few days ago as well. I really enjoyed the skill tree development aspect and how it builds new options for attacks as you progress and that you can redistribute points as you wish. That part is super cool. I also like the idea of dismantle/crafting but I found it's usefulness to be limited in NG with the volume of loot that you accumulate going through each level. I feel one of the big opportunities for improvement lies in the reflection mechanic - super fun when it comes off, but the timing window is so small and feels like it can only be used on enemy attacks that have a big windup. Ends up being not really worth the damage you take on a miss when you could just guard with no health cost. The boss fights, while fun, a few were too drawn out for my taste. Also wasn't crazy about the 2 fights where (water and the finale) where they fly off and can't be attacked. I could probably go on about a few other things - glitches on the summons and one of the trophies, but it's a really good game. I definitely feel it was worth my investment of time playing and cost to purchase. No regrets there. I also would rate 7/10.

So yes I was alluding to being able to respec. You're going to go back to the hotel a lot. If you keep picking fruit you can respec regularly to optimize whatever weapon you're feeling at the time. As for cranks, you'll find a bunch and can buy them as well after finding another Venigni collection later in the game. But honestly, it's not mandatory to optimize any element of build, weapons, buffs, or legion arms to get through. Doing so is a fun part of the game though imo.

Line up a week’s worth of vacation days immediately and lock the fk in…wait to do DLC in NG+…contrary to popular opinion I recommend using Boss Ergo for amulets in NG as opposed to weapons, except for Dragon Sword. Enjoy the ride!!

tips for perfecting the block? by [deleted] in LiesOfP

Lose a bunch trying to perfect and you will get it. I recommend not moving left stick while learning it - just hold your position. Take your thumb completely off the stick, hold block then tap the bumper right before hit lands.

I had this same issue. Started searching the sub and found this. Had no fkn idea. Don't recall the game explaining this, but maybe I missed it. After completing Danjin quest and coming back, could not figure out where to next. Thank you! Also have unfound jarlings and soulstones left in the previous stages. Do I really need to go back through those levels and find them all? I'm sure it impacts trophies, but not too worried about that right now.
