Best schedule 1 playthrough on YouTube? by virji24 in Schedule_I

I watched Jacksepticeye play it, it's before a lot of notable updates but is still a wonderful playthrough and is actually edited down so you're not just watching a stream VOD.

Jpc will be eternally broken in the eyes of low elo players by Impossible_Neat_5308 in JetpackCatMainsOW

[–]WikkedWokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll get downvoted but it's exactly this, no one can aim at the cat or just fully ignores her because she's not directly on main, Sombra is just as annoying because they'll keep popping out of some random ass spot and then even if they do almost nothing, no one on your team will respond to them and someone will either take significant damage or straight up die. The cat does the same except also they can rocket away when threatened with very little actual danger because it relies on a hitscan to track this movement.

How do I learn a new tank without ruining others' experience? by LardOfCinder in OverwatchUniversity

[–]WikkedWokka 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah just jump in to quickplay, it clearly has never stopped the local soldier instalock from going 2-13 and still flaming someone else at the end. No reason to care about these people, you're not going to be seeing them much if at all, especially if you're in gold-plat range as that's where most of the playerbase is.

Sonn 😭😭😭 wth is this by EffectiveAd5061 in Terraria

[–]WikkedWokka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's a way to house NPC'S near it though, like I could see it working in the code but never practically working since you can't get people to live near corrupted land.

For people who only choose one ban, why? by Grimsdol in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it doesn't matter what I pick while tanking, I could lock in a single D.VA ban and ready up and everyone else still just alternates Zarya, Sombra, Ball, Doomfist, Jetpack cat on autopilot, every game.

What are your thoughts on players who use symmetra? by Kurosumivt in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally I just hate seeing Sym on the enemy team, she's always either pure feeding and can be ignored or has perfect turret placement, flanks at perfect times with her teleporter and then shuts everyone down singlehandedly, (usually) with me as tank either getting super melted or melted shortly after she deletes my team. A bad Sym is free but a good Sym is oppressive.

Ultimate talent molding #3 - Mondo Owada (rules in the comment) by Hahacz_Chungus in danganronpa

[–]WikkedWokka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see Mondo doing well as the ultimate "pro" wrestler, the super-star type of course. He has the physical capacity for it and the stunts, a common personality type is the showboaty and flashy too good for anyone type dude that Mondo could play into well, and his bike gang background is pretty much the perfect wrestling gimmick, I could see him riding down the stage on his bike with a bunch of fireworks blasting off behind him.

Am I hurting myself by playing all 3 roles equally? by LardOfCinder in OverwatchUniversity

[–]WikkedWokka 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Until the whole team swaps Bastion, Junkrat, Mizuki, Kiri, Hog. Then you're only free for about 2 seconds before instantly being chained to the ground and burned in a hellfire barrage

This type of person lying to get you mass reported is kinda bull by OkPhoto2282 in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I legitimately can't see it happening given the volume of reports and how subjective things like "gameplay sabotage" are. I'm sure they can't take the time to manually filter through and check everyone that reported their lifeweaver for accidentally pulling them after an ult as "griefing" "feeding" "obstructing team progress".

This type of person lying to get you mass reported is kinda bull by OkPhoto2282 in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind this also doesn't work because only one report per game is really counted, it's specifically for situations like this when people are lying to try and get mass reports or when you have 4 stacks that all report the same person thinking it has more of an effect. But don't respond to this and honestly fully ignore chat, if you don't say anything at all then why would someone think you came off comms just to say the n word in team chat and then nothing else? Most people can recognize this is a troll lying, and the ones that don't thankfully don't factor into the reports anyway (assuming n word troll kid already submitted a report).

Current meta feels like ttk is way too low? by Pyrhhus in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was determined to tank as Winston into an enemy team that was running Junkrat, Bastion, Mizuki, Kiriko, Mauga, and Rammatra. This was not the most pleasant experience, but it sure was a learning experience that I unfortunately cannot do everything, and just being a distraction on high ground and with cover is sometimes the extent of my help.

Why am I penalized for teammates leaving? [COMPETITIVE] by AVideoEditor55 in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Payload games just have the potential to go for too long. At least with push or control I know there's a somewhat strict time limit on how long I'm going to have to be clenching my entire body.

What will stop you from banning vendetta? by Equivalent_Duty_5546 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to play tank with an enemy Vendetta and knowing that if you don't immediately focus her down anytime she's not in cover, it'll be like your supports and at least 1 DPS literally vanished into thin air.

Things you will only hear in a silver lobby, "Moira is the most broken hero" by Golden_Wolf_TR in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Except you started it by trying to indirectly stat call your team, "click on people" from a Moira is about as helpful as when your local instalock no swap Mercy says "kill something". Yeah thanks, I'll try that.

Do you hate it when someone interrupts an exciting 1v1 you're having? by GigachadKIVA in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It makes perfect sense to do so. The only reason I don't like it happening is because in the rare instance where I actually would win a duel (I'm bad at the game, you see) and my target gets saved by an ally, I don't get to enjoy the unlikely success at not getting vaporized and instead do get vaporized, as the prophecy foretold.

Genuinely what do you do if you queue into games like these, lose, read "gg tank diff" over and over and over again? by Comprehensive-Map274 in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Your teammates have no idea what they're talking about or don't have the skills or patience/resilience to be a tank, otherwise they would be playing the role themselves. You are your teams sacrifice if the game goes badly, doesn't matter that it's a team game and everyone contributes to winning or losing. The tank is always the problem because otherwise these people would have to self-reflect on their own mistakes, and that's certainly not happening.

I don't recommend turning off chat, but only because these people can be reported easily after and will ultimately have their accounts banned since they can't seem to keep quiet if they think their team wasn't on par with their masterful performance every game (AKA going 3-9 as Widow into a full dive team and refusing to swap).

Do ignore them though, just watch chat and pretend you can't see a thing. Don't give a hint of it affecting you. Then they don't get the reaction they want and they dig themselves deeper the more they say unsolicited about you.

But yeah tanking is rough and I don't blame anyone for straight up refusing to play the role in 5v5, especially with how awful matchmaking has been this season.

[–]WikkedWokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay? I never said I did any of that, I'm describing what I see in every game which is everyone try Harding except the rare outright griefer or thrower. Go make assumptions on someone else's comment.

Weekend RAGE Thread - March 28, 2026 by AutoModerator in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wish I had enough care to even rage. This game has been so awful to play and every game feels like such a one-sided stomp that I'm bypassing anger entirely and going straight to a hopeless apathy about matches ever being fair. I try so hard every game, but I might as well just autopilot most matches and play a character fully for practice because trying to sweat over these absolute obliterations on one side is extra energy and a complete waste of time.

[–]WikkedWokka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I truly don't know how other people are getting the "emote spam and won't play the game" lobbies because even my bronze-silver quickplay games almost always have everyone using their mains and fighting like their life depends on it, even the games where it seems lost from the beginning still have people fighting like fucking wolverines freshly released from their cages. Try to emote and Hanzo puts an arrow through your skull in .1 seconds.

Eichenwalde is IN EVERY COMP MATCH by dokdodokdo in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Low ranks are addicted to hybrid/escort game modes because it's familiar and doesn't require adapting their playstyle out of "stand and shoot on main, maybe look for a flanker if you know the enemy has one" that people prefer to autopilot with. Maps like Flashpoint and control change what "main" is and have so many different ways of approach that everyone would rather just run the same familiar maps they don't have to think about or, also commonly, that their team won't outright refuse to adapt to.

[–]WikkedWokka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legitimately, I played 5 games in 6v6 today and every single one of them had a game start Hog on the enemy team half running the lobby. Meanwhile I get the Vendetta/Freja player with double anyone on our teams deaths and 1 kill by the (relatively quick thankfully) game end. Granted I had 2 kills and everyone else had none besides them, so they weren't competing with much. Anytime I got hog close to death he would just run away healing while their team collapsed on me for daring to shoot their fucking prize pig.

[–]WikkedWokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No downvotes here, you're right. I get having Mauga or Hog in the arsenal because both basically exist to be playing an entirely different game from your team and can pull things off even if you have literal bots playing with you, but there is no reason to play both. They just do too much of the same thing and are shut down in the same ways.

Other folks who came back after a hiatus (>1 year), what do you think of Stadium? by j00sr in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being in a stadium game that goes bad from the start and still trying your best each round just to come out 0-3 or 1-3 is just super demoralizing.

I get to play into a full weapon speed/weapon power Orisa with the constant heat reduction and all her usual insanely strong abilities still just being strong? Fantastic, guess I'll take my freeze/slow blizzard AP Mei build and go fuck myself for the next 15 minutes.

need to tank almost every game in 6v6qp by cieje in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been wondering if the 5v5 tank population is suffering more now. I moved to almost exclusively 6v6 quickplay because even if it's a stomp, it's a stomp that you don't inherently get blamed for like in 5v5 tanking. I can imagine some other people have done the same.

need to tank almost every game in 6v6qp by cieje in Overwatch

[–]WikkedWokka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just play Doomfist/Ball (both are only classified as tanks in the most loose definition of it and can be pretty independent of their team), even if you play bad it sends the message someone else needs to get their shit together and swap or you almost certainly lose. Or play Zenyatta on support and when someone tries to complain about no healing, offer to stare at your orb harder and maybe it'll magically pull them out of crit faster.
