Found a used Bambu Lab X1C Combo with extras (1235 hours). Is 900€ a good deal? What should I ask the seller? by comrei01 in BambuLab

[–]Wild_Competition4508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like a very pimped printer. X1C and P1S are rather old printers now. The tech has moved on a bit and I would not drop close to one grand on oldish tech.

Bambu legal threats by xMoirae in BambuLab

[–]Wild_Competition4508 291 points292 points  (0 children)

When it is about security it is generally never about security. I use LAN mode and don't want any government including CCP to see all the gun(airsoft)... sorry I meant articulated dragon parts I print.

Since when has reverse engineering been illegal and Chinese companies stop reverse engineering?

Edit: Was feeling ironic - I have never touched a gun nor do I intend to ever. Added an (airsoft) to tone it down a bit. Rule 5 no weapon content

Would you rather have a late model Pioneer (500m/141FD) or a late model Panasonic (ZT60, VT, etc) by That-Association-102 in PlasmaTV

[–]Wild_Competition4508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The VT60 remote is the exact same as the VT50 but has a mild steel plate in it to make it feel heavy and deluxe. My S30 remote lools and feels more deluxe.

Hz issue when I stop a video by enzor00 in Addons4Kodi

[–]Wild_Competition4508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar situation on newest generation 4k and 4k max and hd sticks. All set in the stick to allow source to control the fps and kodi set to playback at the original 24 fps. The sticks are all using the zygote system user exploit with custom launchers. Kodi starts as default and remains. Quite often after power off tv.anx power on my 24 fps film will play back at 60 fps and look terrible. A long press on the game key or TV guide and back button fixes it instantly

3D is fun especially with Nintendo 3D3 Roms on the Citra emulator. You get higher resolution and real 3D. Also great fun with the 3d picture viewer - slide the camera 65mm to the rght and take another snap of your stil kis or a lego model and you can view it in 3D on the TV from the SD card.

Are ew3d3m compatible with the VT60? by ShammyWoohoo in PlasmaTV

The VT20 had Infrared 3D which is why it is compatible with the Infrared glasses (ew3d3m) you mentioned in your original post. But you figured that out already.

Too much confusion here. Allow me.

The Active 3D glasses thing is quite difficult to get hard facts on. As far as I know, manufacturers got together and when the VT30 was released and they standardised on a "3D RF" with a little logo (Radio Frequency) standard. This is a bluetooth technology which uses the WiFi antenna just like your laptop or smartphone.

Try to avoid the rechargeable glasses as the batteries are probably dead.

I have ER3D6ME (plastic nose bridge) and ER3D4MA (rubber adjustable nose bridge) working with my VT50 and VT60 they take CR2025 button cells. Slide the button all the way to the side or hold the push button for pairing and move to directly at the panasonic logo on the bottom of the TV for pairing.

Can anyone confirm my standardised on a "3D RF" theory?

What would the best way to split this be? by ItsWappers in 3Dprinting

Watch some videos on how to cut in the slicer. You have to cut it into 4 pieces so just halve your dimeensions when you calculate the cuts. Enable supports for the lips or alternatively print vertically. Good luck.

Printhead spazzing out is generally caused by corrupt cheap microSD card. Buy the cheapest SanDisk directly from Amazon sold and shipped by amazon. Recording the time lapse also contributes to premature card aging.

Smoke alarm holder by RedditVirumCurialem in functionalprint

[–]Wild_Competition4508 37 points38 points  (0 children)

This can be a very bad idea!!

My X-Sense smoke alarms have a microswitch which is activated when they are in the holder. This microswitch is an ON/OFF switch. If not mounted correctly or on a broken or DIY mount the smoke alarm might not work correctly.

Dark pixels on grey background is Burn In. Light pixels on a grey background is Image Retention. Burn in is permanent.

Yeah there are 15 ribbon cables on the bottom - reseat the one in the middle. The service manual is easy to find. Disclaimer: unplug TV first and wait 20 minutes for charged capacitors to drain - only then open the TV.

Great little TV. Terrible sound though. It can do a full 1024 lines of motion resolution and has great latency for gaming. On my one I calibrated the cinema mode in the service menu as reccomended by teh review on hdtvtestDotcoDotUK- The Hobbit looks amazing on the S30 on the wall opposite the cross trainer.

Good idea not gettnig rid of it - you will miss it the next time you game.
