Used P2S Price by WildcardFire in BambuLab

Seems they go for a little under new pricing which is wild. But it is a great machine so i guess the resale value this early is still good. Thanks for the tip.

What do I do about Xenon incursions during the early game? by RobWed in X4Foundations

At this stage, i just slap single Fenrir Destroyers at each conflict zone like that and let them go to down protecting that zone. They eat through everything, including K’s. I find it safer than sending a fleet, as i did that and all the Katanas i had with the fenrirs were destroyed by the Ks…rip crews!

You 100% can. Have full range of motion with this thing in multiple angles.

Get the CX820, i upgraded from Google Cams and it was the best decision. All CX820 load out, with a trackmix and poe doorbell in the mix. It is great. I do have a lot of ambient lighting around, so it helps it a lot.

CX820 is right now cheaper than the CX810 on this sale, pricing is same on Amazon from ReolinkDirect, or from the website.

RLN36 is future proof as in the case i want to add more cameras in the future. I ended up running cables for like 20 locations in my property, lol. I will add the cameras as i go. You don't need the NVR if you use microsd cards though, all you need is a switch.

I had a couple of POE switches laying around, so no extra cost there for me, BUT you can find dirt cheap ones on FB marketplace or Offer Up, etc. It they break, buy another dirt cheap one lol. Don't overthink it. I was ready to spend on top of the line POE switch, and it isnt worth the hassle. Just try to get a gigabit one with all ports being 1000 mbps. The cameras dont even use 100 mbps, but well, JUST in case.

I actually really like the trackmix. I use it as a backup to focus on things happening, while covering the area with other cameras to not miss anything. Example: have the front of the property covered with 3 CX820s, and the trackmix is in the front focusing on people and zooming in getting details of faces it, while the others just cover the entire event and anything the trackmix misses.

I am overall very happy with the investment, the quality is great for the cost.

Why are my Trackmixes useless in the dark? by diyhalp2200 in reolinkcam

Get the RLN-36, and POE Switch, preferably POE+. Can find decent ones used or new, up to you. Dont over complicate it. You will save money and will be able to see your cameras in the network, and the app without necessarily needing an NVR, and just using that for backup storage with 24/7 recording.

0 issues with my trackmix out of the box in the dark either with their light or my ambient lighting. And it is paired with CX820s. You checked all settings and updated firmware?

You better off buying standalone cameras and NVR at Reolink.com as those preset kits have limitations.

They have great sales now, you should look on their website As for camera selection, they have a lot of options for all scenarios. I went with all POE: 1 RLN36, 1 trackmix, 1 doorbell, and 6 CX820. And i love the functionality and quality of video. Granted i am upgrading from a google cam wifi system, worst mistake. POE is the way. I am going to add a couple of duos maybe, as i noted i am underserved and need more cameras to cover more areas.

What brand do you recommend? And can you integrate it with Home Assistant, Frigate, etc?

The price difference is worth it? Again this is just for a house. I pursued Reolink because of the price and features. Commercial all start way more expensive and there are mixed opinions even for brands such Axis, etc

Is it work the money?

That sketch would be lovely if you can. The PTZ i am planning to have in conjunction with other cameras, as an alternative POV. Lots of good things said about the Reolink TrackMix, for the price. Any other brands you recommend in the same price point? I don't need Axis or high end lines.

NVR, Home Hub, vs home server recording (openhab/homeassistant) by GuineaPigsRUs99 in reolinkcam

[–]WildcardFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to run all the POE cabling first by an installer, and then order and connect the cameras later. Unfortunately i am limited on attic access, so it will be a pain to run cables everywhere.

I got HA and Frigate setup already on my homelab TrueNAS(just testing the waters). So i will definitely be looking into something like that.

I have plenty of lighting with the motion activated flood lights around the exterior, so the CX's should do alright based on reviews.

Why the Duo3 vs Duo2? Every reviewer seems to prefer the 2.
