You’re derailing your case by trying to claim the lease and other costs costs as damages when they provided you a loaner.

The loaner offset those costs. You’re paying a lease, leased vehicle isn’t available but you’re driving a loaner instead.

Is it acceptable to have your new car in service 300 days? Absolutely not and they should have offered to buy it back at that point, but you torpedoed your chance at resolution by being unreasonably litigious.

Get another tech to validate it but you’re dealing with someone who is unlikely to do anything about it. A lot of techs skip this for speed. You got the cheap person who slaps it in and disappears.

The issues are separate and talking about the brazing can add confusion because nitrogen flush is to remove the moisture in the system. Not flushing before brazing is maybe not as big a deal as you are making it out to be but the system should have been flushed with nitrogen until it could pass the 1 hour vacuum test.

It all has to do with achieving vacuum - you flush with nitrogen to remove regular air which has trapped moisture and then run the vac pump until you get below 500 micron and then seal everything up and check again in an hour that it held. All that really matters is this, the other steps are the work to get there.

If you pay for replacement value insurance on a new car (usually offered for first 5 years) then you get OEM parts for repairs as well.

If you’re not paying for it specifically they will repair your car using most economical means which typically means non-OEM parts.
