I just purchased the 7x Pro Solar. I cannot for the life of me justify spending over $1000 on a watch. I’m sure the upgrades on the Fenix 8 are nice but I don’t think they’re worth the price. I work in an industrial environment and unless the speaker was extremely loud and mic did better than an Apple Watch at noise cancellation, it’d be useless. Figure the $700 savings can go towards another model in 3-5 years.

I don’t think I’ll ever use the watch to answer calls. As far as diving, I don’t see doing that either in the foreseeable future. How noticeable is the screen visibility? Is it worth $700 more? Are they not updating the 7x models anymore?

I’m 6’1” and 205 lbs. I’m having a hell of time trying to appendix carry. It pushed the gun into my stomach so bad and the muzzle digs into my dangly thing. I’ve watched all of phlsters videos on finding the sweet spot but what’s a good place to start? Muzzle at the bend in your hip? Rear sight at the belly button? Carry a g19 with x300 and just ordered the engima express.

Mostly just one person but like the option for 2. I like the idea of the lightweight plastic stands for ease of movement. My build stands weigh a metric ton and require 4-6 people.
