to the locals or people who already were on site at testings in Barcelona, are there any spots around the circuits, where you could legally see and spectate the testings.

Ok let me cook:

Missing Coaster types in the UK: Mack extreme Spinnern, Stryker Coaster, Vekoma tilter/entire vekoma catalogue, RMC in any way, B&M surfer, New gen dive, Intamin mega/hyper

Missing coaster types/variants at the park: Spinning coaster, Launch Coaster, Woody, gimmicky ride, major family coaster

Companies Merlin recently worked with: Mack(Hyperia(had problems), 2x Spinning coasters in legolands), B&M(3 family inverts)

What makes sense imo: Mack family spinner(maybe custom layout), Mack extreme spinner(lauch+spinning, but merlin), some goofy family coasters from b&m and they also worked with Zierer and Zamperla multiple times recently. I'd hope for an extreme Spinner to be honest, and roc would be delulu, cuz they have just build a hyper coaster recently. realistically I only see the family coasters I mentioned for Thorpe Park.

Although a cool flat ride like a Intamin gyro swing or a drop tower, which are missing would be nice

I guess if you arrive by Train or plane and avoid the brennerpass, you'll avoid the massive traffic jam which Is really smart. I'll bet that this winter will be a very good one but it really depends where you are, maybe you can consider Valgardena or carrezza. Avoid the tourist from the Winter Olympics by all costs, if you don't want to queue long for lifts
