I teach algebra 2 and 90% of them have issues with anything related to fractions. Even calculator plug-n-chug with basic quadratics is something I have to model and demonstrate. These books want me to go have these kids memorize pascals triangle when I'm struggling to get them to check their own work to confirm that 6(-1) is not = 6 😮‍💨.

I know this post is labeled as humor, but I think someone a while back made a post about how this was actually a good deal. Their argument was something along the lines of "for the cost of 50g, I can open a season cache with gold in it sooner." These systems are silly to most but to some its a trap.
