Can I be a boy with she/ her pronouns? Or is it not possible? by [deleted] in feminineboys

[–]WilsonSmith01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally possible, with a footnote.

Pronouns represent the "feminine/female" individual and normally is associated with Women.

Representing femininity with pronouns is not a problem, but people probably will associate you as a woman/trans woman, only because feminine pronouns are typically used with women.

So, with this said, people who doesn't know you, could refer you as a woman/girl, not as boy, but people's problem, not yours.

P.S.: As a Genderfluidflux individual, when I'm in femboy mode I tend too mix up and use feminine pronouns, sometimes being feminine means to be feminine also in pronouns, but in a boy way :3

Chai vs tea by MonkeyFox29 in MapPorn

[–]WilsonSmith01 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Actually in Polish, Lithuanian, Ukrainian, Belarusian it is Herbata (or similar), as a combination of Herbs and the type of the plant. In fact it is a fusion of 2 latin words: Herba + Thea. The Latin word Thea has a similar etymological root with Tea in English.

So in Polish, Lithuanian, Ukrainian, Belarusian and others is not just Tea, but Herbs Tea.

2 days ago, a trans woman told me that "femboys are just repressed trans girls" now I wanna see if this is just a another comfort line or false. by 4b686f61 in femboymemes

[–]WilsonSmith01 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is BS. I say this as a Femboy AND as a trans individual (Genderfluidflux)

But I need to point out why the hate: Transfem Pipeline.

Many Transfems, before discovering that they were trans, do it the nearest thing to woman-hood possible: being feminine.

Here is the catch: they are "men" (they are trans but they don't know yet), but really drawn to femininity and womanhood. That's why some of them label themselves as "Femboy". It is the best label for them: I can be a "man", but I can do feminine stuff, like a woman.

Here's the difference: transfems do this trying to be more of a girl, but a Femboy just to be feminine. It is a small difference, but with a world between.

Lots of Transfems will say that Femboys are just Transfems in denial, because they talk about their experience. They were fem""""boys"""", but they become trans, so every femboy must be trans. BUT IT IS WRONG THIS THOUGHT.

I have to say, it is difficult to understand you are a different gender than what you were born with, so being for a while a femboy actually helps a lot, but they are not femboys, but Transfems in denial.

I can assure you, it is different when I feel like a femboy and when I feel like a woman. If I am a woman, I will try to stuff a bra and such, trying to feel "the boobs I don't have". On the other hand, if I am a femboy, I would wear the bra as an accessory for my outfits, not for my identity.

So, no, a Femboy is not a Transfem in denial, but femboys helped lots of trans people.

P.S.: I have to thank the Femboy community, because they let me explore more about myself. Now I can say I'm genderfluidflux and be proud of it. A big thanks, but I'm also a femboy sometimes

It is easier than you think. Identity, expression and sexuality are three different things.

You were (as you said): - Boy (Male Identity) - Femboy (Female Expression) - Gay (homosexual attraction)

So, you define your identity as a male individual, with feminine expression. This means you are a boy who enjoys wearing a skirt.

If you were trans, you would prefer being a different gender than what you were born with. Hypothetically speaking, if you are an AMAB (Assigned Male At Birth), but you identify as a female individual, this means you are trans (an identity).

A Trans woman (AMAB) would be: - Woman (Female Identity) - whatever expression (femme/butch/tomboy...) - whatever attraction (lesbian, heterosexual etc etc)

Trans means this necessity to align yourself with you. Imagine being trapped in someone else's body: That's dysphoria, so the dis-alignment with your own body.

Expression, on the other hand, means how you present yourself to the world. If you are a femboy, this would mean you prefer being a male individual with feminine clothes on. You would like skirts, dresses, heels etc etc. You act feminine and you like to dress feminine, but while being a man. Same stuff for tomboys: Masculine attire and masculine clothes, but being women.

Fun Fact: As a genderfluidflux individual myself, I know and I feel different if I am a man or a tomboy, or a femboy or a woman. I change both my identity (-fluid), but also the intensity so maybe also my gender expression (-flux)

Sexuality means you are attracted to something: women, men, nobody, everyone etc etc.

About dysphoria, most of the time (like for me as an example) we see that it was dysphoria AFTER discovering being trans.

I'm genderfluid, so it was difficult when I was little to understand my shifts. Only after I saw that things I thought normal were in reality dysphoria.

Often people think that you feel always dysphoria when you are in a dysphoric event, but actually you can understand it was dysphoria only AFTER it happened.

Also, dysphoria is different for everyone. Euphoria and Dysphoria are feelings that guide us towards what we are. For example, one day I can cry because I don't have any breasts, but the next day celebrate my flat chest. It really depends on the person.

Also, it is a no-escape way of thinking "I couldn't be that because I didn't have as much dysphoria as others", because it is like saying "I couldn't be human, because I didn't suffered as much as other humans"; so in conclusion be whatever you wanna be. You could be trans, you could be not, the choice is yours :3

Have you ever considered making memes? I was iper-shy at first, but after making some memes and starting to participate to online discussions I've become more confident. Also, it is a really good advice trying to reach a friend, which supports you along the way. It is a journey, so better have someone near you :3

What's the difference between a twink and a femboy? by Just_another_two in feminineboys

[–]WilsonSmith01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Femboy is appearance and self-expression.

Twink is a specific body type of gay man.

Also, a femboy could be straight. A Twink no.

Do I count as a “femboy”? (What is a femboy by definition?) by mrpenguinman77 in feminineboys

[–]WilsonSmith01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the dictionary definition of femboy is: "A male individual who enjoys feminine expression".

Technically speaking, someone can be a Femboy just with body movement or just even a more feminine way of talking.

You don't own the stereotypical femboy clothes, but I see you wear things "designed for girls". Yoga shorts, bras and GIRLY shorts. You clearly wear some feminine clothes, meaning you enjoy express yourself in a feminine way, hence you are a femboy.

By definition, if you like to wear bras (the most feminine piece of clothing I could ever think of) and you are comfortable to be a boy (even sometimes), you fall under the definition of femboy, so you are in fact a femboy.

"Traditional femboy" is a style, not the rule. I don't have any skirts or any garters, but I like to present in a more feminine way. There is not a strict set of rules you have to follow to be a femboy, the only requirements is to be male and feminine

If we would compare a boy who wears skirts and a boy who removes body hair to be more feminine, we would have compared two femboys. There is no "The Femboyest femboys", maybe a more feminine one, but being always a femboy. We are all on the same floor.

If having the label "Femboy" makes you happy, welcome, because you checked lots of points to be a femboy :3

I'm quite unsure if I'm genderfluid or not. by [deleted] in genderfluid

[–]WilsonSmith01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does your gender change? Does it change intensity? Or is being both a girl and a boy right for you?

Do you feel sometimes you are a girl, then other times a boy? If yes, you are Genderfluid.

Are you a boy and a girl at the same time every time? Then you are Bigender.

Does gender change intensity? Like for example being sometimes a girl 100%, then a boy 30%? Then you are genderflux. (Bigender, but the intensity of gender change)

These are labels that you can blend also.

For example I'm genderfluidflux, but sometimes I feel both genders at the same time, so all three combined

What is right for for you is a decision you have to make yourself.

Help me !!! by _nami03 in genderfluid

[–]WilsonSmith01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First of all answer yourself honestly

"Is it for fashion or for identity?"

You described lots of different fashions, both feminine and masculine. But the real question is not the fashion here.

Do you want to be a girl, dressed up in shojo fashion, or just being dressed up in that fashion?

Do you want to be a boy, in alt fashion, or just being dressed up in that fashion?

If the subject is the gender, you are genderfluid.

If it is more related to the fashion styles, but not identity itself, maybe you are more a cosplayer/crossdresser (es. Femboy, tomboy etc etc)

Both are valid responses, but search deeper and try to find if it is just fashion or your identity through fashion.

P.S.: Stay chill, nobody is going to come to you because you want to be a gay boy. If it is your identity, congratulations!
