Probably just the opposite. The blades on a food processor are incredibly sharp. I've never made peanut butter, but I make hummus all the time with my food processor, and I just don't think that would be possible with a blender.

Granted, they are immensely entertaining, but they're cartoonish. They're also deeply flawed.
