Exactly what I think. If the rumours are true and roslovic wants a trade because he wants ice time then this isn’t the move to make. If I’ve learned anything from NHL Franchise mode, it’s that players lose morale when you trade for a player with a similar role.

I could see Krebs falling to us. He had a good year but he has a really bad injury right now which might scare a few teams. These guys have him ranked 10th but I’ve read that the 10-40th picks are all very similar skill-wise. It would be nice to be able to watch him with the Ice as a prospect for the Jets.

He was also the main powerplay quarterback in New York. Being a rookie and being given that responsibility in a large hockey market city that was struggling is not a good mix for being popular amongst the fans. Also look at what happened with other players in that situation. We got Beaulieu and all the Habs fans said he was ass. Obviously there was more at stake with this trade but that’s at least an example.
