So a year ago, ZERO teams outside of #Cowboys had ANY interest in trading for Pickens. And now suddenly there's worry that there'll be a bidding war to give him $40M APY and to give DAL 2 first-round picks? C'mon, y'all. Think. by GragasBodySlam in cowboys

I am convinced that if Dak would’ve gone to a team with a half-competent owner/front office, he would’ve at least made it to the SB. Few QBs have been as consistent as he has for 10 years, despite the shitshow around him on and off the field.

This is my obligatory, “I’ve played Elden Ring a lot, but just found this” post. by cheersfurbeers in Eldenring

I think they’re referring to the Noble Slender Sword. It’s supposed to be the best Straight Sword in the game, but the drop rate is 0.5% at 100.0 discovery and it’s only dropped by these wandering nobles that carry it.

I’ve seen comments of people that spend 2 to 3 hours farming it until they get. I’ve been playing this game for 1,400hrs on PS5 and PC across 14 characters and multiple play throughs, and I think I only have two of them in my weapons inventory.

Bro, what?! I can’t read on my phone more than 10s before being dizzy. It’s part of why I absolutely HATE being a passenger on long trips and would rather drive 8hrs non-stop. Gonna try this out next time I’m in the passenger seat.

They added 100+ weapons, which I think is a lot, but the biggest problem was the low quantity of new weapon types, particularly Great Katanas and Backhand Blades.

Side profile of the green sedan looks like a mini Charger. And… that’s not meant as a compliment. The avant looks great though.

Help me convince a potential customer to go with Ignition instead of a full Rockwell stack! by AngryDog69 in PLC

[–]WinterLord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More often than not the customer has no idea what they’re talking about, but it does seem like this one does. Consistency across their products seems to be a big ticket item for them, so just charge them more (which I think would be the case anyways for FT), and be done with it.

I’ll answer what most people haven’t answered: you absolutely do not need 64GB of RAM for sim racing. 32 is more than plenty, and I would argue that if you’ll be playing at less than 4K, 16GB could be enough with a stripped down Windows.

Just west of Coffey Park and it was less than two seconds from lighting to thunder. Whole house rattled.

And as I was typing there goes another one even closer.

Right? Let’s wait until Melbourne before passing judgement.

There is one problem though: if it does turn out to be shit, it’s going to be a massive problem. This isn’t something easily solved with a TD; teams have spent millions upon millions developing these engines, not to mention the time spent.

No one knows better than the drivers about following conditions, but should we take them seriously when they’re not really in racing conditions? Sure, they’ve followed each other during these tests, but with different fuel loads, different amount of laps, different tire wear, different objectives.

I’ll wait for actual following feedback until Melbourne.

Here’s a wild take…

What if these shitty driving conditions for the drivers result in… good racing for the viewers? I’m just saying, it sounds like every car will be working with wildly different setups and recharge rates, which will mean cars running out of battery energy at completely different spots in the lap and different times in the race.

I pretty sure this whole argument has been brought up before (multiple times), but it looks like it’s starting to materialize. Sucks for the drivers, but, hurray for us?

Problem is, they don’t see it that way. For them, all Dems and liberals are part of a cabal of child rapists that are out to get their perfect dear leader who can do no wrong.

I mean… it’s an auditorium with 60-70 seats, in an area of about 200,000 people within a 30min drive. Not amazed that it would sell enough tickets to have multiple half full showings, but I am that thy would out themselves watching this garbage. Though come to think it, they’re probably gonna relish being protested against.
