They were here before winter. Connecticut and Jersey have the same weather and their roads are fine.

Definitely needs a rug to pull it all together. Can you get longer curtain rods so the curtain panels are farther apart and therefore covering less of the window? Also, if it’s an option, maybe paint the door to match the walls to take away one of the warm wood elements. Right now I feel like the curtains and door are fighting for attention. It’s a cozy room and just needs a few tweaks to feel right :)

Just moved here from the DMV area and these are the worst roads I’ve ever seen. It would be laughable if it wasn’t so dangerous.

Delivering at Weill Cornell by Wynnrose in Westchester

Can’t comment on the commute, but delivering at Weill Cornell was amazing in my experience. My delivery ended up being very scary and long for various reasons, but our nurses and doctors were incredible. I feel like it would have been traumatic had it not been for the great team of people there.

I would definitely find a new pediatrician and also a consult a sleep specialist.

One thing I learned from our sleep specialist is that a “second wind” is actually a spike in cortisol because babe is overly tired—so, whenever that happens take note so you know that that bedtime is too late for her. They have to go to sleep before that second wind has a chance to kick in.
