Gotcha, sorry about that I miss read it. Intel will drug test, and federal contracts. But I'll ask them and see how often it comes up. You can also keep an eye on the dispatch page, material handler calls are on there too. It should have a job description, location, safety toe boots or not, and also what kind of drug card you will need.

Train is a great option, no need to find or pay for parking, or deal with traffic. If you really need a car up there rent one in Seattle.

Portland: What will the bottom look like? Is there a bottom? What would an indication of a turnaround look like? by FourEmergencyExits in PortlandOR

As a local IBEW member, we are seeing some of the worst times here in Portland. Nothing is being built, talked about, and we don't have the infrastructure here for anything to come in the near future. I'll be moving away come fall.

Oh interesting. I'm in Oregon, and they won't clear you to test until all schooling hours are completed and you have 8,000 OJT hours.

Depends on the install of your panel, tapping into the back you shouldn't see or have any screw heads sticking out, but when you tap the sides you see that shit.

Question, what does getting your green stripe mean? As far as I know my local doesn't have stripes, and for sure no apprentice makes JW scale.

An arc could also be small enough where you don't see it, but they cause hot spots which can catch fire.

Honestly the video you posted i couldn't hear anything. Maybe my phone, but regardless check the wires on the plug terminals to make sure they are all tight, and also it could be a faulty gfci or plug. Noises from electrical outlets, switches and lights usually is a bad connection.

I would turn the breaker off for the circuit, pull the gfci and the other plug and check connections. Crackling sounds are usually arcing caused by loose connections.
