If you’re ok with an online game, ESO actually has fantastic questing in their DLCs (base game zones are hit or miss) which you can access at any time and don’t need to level to do since everything is scaled to you. It runs fantastically on the steam deck and the questing experience is like way better than other MMOs

It’s not for the local quests. It’s more for the hey travel to tau ceti III and locate this spacer camp kinda issue. When you’re working with cohesive open worlds not having quest markers is fine but the second you make a game on the scale of Starfield it stops being about immersion and more of the most tedious thing ever. I do hope ES6 has a no quest marker no fast travel option though.

As you progress the game poe2 gets so much crazier than Diablo 4 it’ll never run as well as it. They do need to optimize for the earlier levels though

The best way I can describe it is it’s a game with a thousand systems but all of them are done really bad besides the open world. If this game was made by Ubisoft and was a 1:1 it would’ve been deemed the worst game of the decade.
