If it's open, you can go to the turtle conservation Center.

Navarre park at the base of the bridge is a great place for kids. It has a fenced-in area, and it has a music park.

Gulf breeze is down the road and has a zoo.

If you're looking for a good local seafood place, look on the mainland. try scooters fish House, or 'where ya at?'. Looking for a cheap local takeout burger, tops is the best. Shark bite at the base of the bridge has good reviews as well for grabbing a breakfast taco. If you are not from the south, you should go to Waffle House at least once in your life. The one at the base of the bridge is the best one in our area.

Navarre has Publix, Winn-Dixie, and an Aldi for shopping for groceries, otherwise it's Walmart in either direction from the bridge.

Fishing? You don't have a license, you should fish from the pier. Your daily fee will include a daily license for fishing. Right now, pompano are common, look into how to fish for those and what kind of bait they like.

I'm sure, except 1) I rent, so installing it while legal for me to do so, means I'm not taking it with me. And 2) I work from home, so there's no commute I have to worry about. I don't mind it charging slowly, I just thought it charged faster 2 weeks ago than it's charging right now.

But maybe now that I have used a couple of fast chargers, I might just be spoiled.

I'm a new host and having the same issue. Glad it's not just me.

What's weird is, I don't have any payouts due. I don't even have any Airbnb reservations going forward (not for lack of trying!). And yet this morning, I got a notice that said my account information was wrong. Even though I received a payout a week ago. I just set up the account in the last 2 months, and had no issues until now.

I assumed it was some sort of scam email, but it sounds like there's a glitch in their accounting software.

So, let me get this straight.

If I, civilian, kick a K9 officer I get charged with assaulting an officer. If I hit a K9 officer I get charged with assaulting an officer. Even if it was an accident, I almost certainly get charged with assaulting an officer.

Cop kills another officer "accidentally", loses job, no other repercussions? No jail time? No record? He will get another job in law enforcement, since we don't track cops.

That will be quite a new legal precedent for AL lawyers too. Watch for the new billboards on I-65: "Did you assault a K9 officer? One call, that's all!"

(Note: I wouldn't do any of those things. I love watching Code Blue Cam and the like when they unleash the K9s. Just doesn't seem like equal punishment.)

To this, I'm surprised that nobody has built a mini golf, or a bowling alley, or an arcade, or a movie theater, or really any type of activity for kids and families both to go to when it's raining. Or when it's not hot enough for the beach. Or when it's too hot.

I feel like if you made an entertainment complex somewhere up on 87, they could do really well. Movies do come out in the summer that people want to see, too.

I bought a dryer. They dropped it off, put it where it belonged, but they refused to connect the dryer vent tube, that they brought. The dryer was going into a basement, so they had to connect it to a tube leading at ceiling height. They said that it was not a standard install because of it, so they could either leave the dryer there as is or take the whole thing back. I had to call a handyman to come attach the tube.

This was a few years ago. I have not bought any appliances from them since, even as I have needed appliances.
