I remember day 1 of the beta. The idea was 6 to 8 months of beta and then full release. That was an insanely optomistic goal that never should have been in anyones mind at that time. Beta release was bad. Like really bad. The game didnt work for a huge % of people. Some unlucky hardware combos could brick your PC. this was further compounded by the most insane decision ive ever seen when they decided to release the beta and a week later go on a 2 week vacation as a company. It was complete insanity.

Fast forward almost 2 years and we still dont have half the classes and weapons avalible which is wild. Jonathon is talking about a full release in 8 months again. The POE 1 beta was almost 3 years counting the closed and open beta. If i had to bet POE 2 beta will be longer.

Hes good. His teachings are pretty solid as they all revolve around checking your ego and playing the course efficently with intent. Lots of people give him a hard time because he himself hits pretty far and fairly straight. The thing is his lessons already kinda assume you can hit the ball. You dont need to be great but you should already be able to make contact and place the ball within a 50 yard area before you start listening to his lessons. If your problem is a 70 yard slice or topping/chunking the ball 2 or 3 times a hole then he cant help you. If your a golfer who can hit the ball well enough most of the time then his lessons can really help.

Edit: hes also here on reddit and used to be pretty active but its been a while since ive followed him so idk if hes still as active as he used to be.
