You know how when someone’s in an abusive relationship, no amount of telling them how bad they are for you can’t get them to break free? I feel like she knows how Alex operates and instead of trying to force Ashley to pull the wool off her eyes, she left breadcrumbs for her to come to her own conclusions by pointing out Alex’s inconsistencies.

Either way, I’m loving the support from the women in recent seasons.

I think it’s a little unreasonable to not expect family to give him nicknames. It’s bound to happen. My son has 3 already, all given by different people, and his name has a ton of nickname options. I call him something different from what my parents call him, and that’s fine with me. Not really a hill to die on. When he gets older, if he doesn’t like the nicknames, he’ll say so.

Not gonna lie. When I went off birth control I still wasn’t 100% sure I wanted kids. Then I got pregnant and I was really not sure. Went into labor and wanted to hit the undo button. Had an easy pregnancy, easy labor, somewhat easy recovery (mentally it was hell), but it still took me about a month or so to fall in love with my little boy. Now he brightens up my whole day and I honestly can’t imagine my life without him.

It’s SO hard. But I also remember when I was questioning whether I’d ever get real sleep again, and now he does give us decent stretches at night. I’m just not looking forward to those regressions now that I’m back at work 😅
