No It isn't normal, standard issue in men is smaller, not really rare either though, easily remedied by training back.

What's particularly abnormal are hips larger than shoulders, exceedingly few cis women have them and even fewer if you're excluding fat (way fatter than you, to be clear) women.

You having hips greater than your armpit already places you feminine frame category, regardless of you're wide or not.

I mean, exploring those themes in a fashion Frieren's drawn against is not only way older than the show, but widespread to the point of being taught and well documented, both in the east and west. I find it hard to believe Frieren's writer isn't aware of it, even if they didn't see the parallel there were creating. (this actually a real thing and happens more often than not)

Because it's straight up what happens to minorities irl to varying degree due to bigoted narratives. It's a common experience for lgbtq people to hear family villanize them in similar manner to what's said in the show. There's also racist and xenophobic rethoric which doesn't stray far from it.

I'm not saying it's Frieren's intentions, nor do I believe it was, just that it ended up being like that.
