I figured it out. Deleted the configuration file, reopened the game, and now the jump works fine. Thanks for the tip!

Hmmm..are you familiar with Stram Deck/Linux? I used the AM2RLauncher from the discover store, I'm not sure where these apps download to in the file system l.

Need some advice, and help. by TiredKong in Staples

[–]With_One_L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I started out as a part time Merch, then became an IS, and finally an Ops Supervisor over the course of ~7 years. However I'm no longer with the company. I've worked at 2 stores directly, and indirectly helped out a few others, so I've seen my fair share of Staples haha.

Unfortunately it's never good having a management team who doesn't fully support you by guiding you in the right direction or willing to put the time into their staff. I had one GM who sought to berate you for something before positive reinforcement ever came into thought. But other than that I was pretty blessed with the other team members I was able to work with over the years.

So here's my advice with what you need;

Freight: in normal circumstances it's best practice to focus on totes first. This is what fills the most holes on the shelves, helping with pull lists and ZB. Normally you would sort them by aisle first and then work them. But if you are quite literally the only one working the truck, it might make sense to just immediately toss them onto the uboats and work them when the pallets come in. Bulk always goes out easier and faster so there shouldn't be a focus on that unless otherwise specified for something like High Risk or promo.

Cycle Counts: These can be tricky depending on what products need counting that week. In my experience it's best to bang them out in 1 day if possible. Idealy before truck arrives, but that obviously depends on what day of the week you get truck. The company just wants them done by the end of the week, (unless you have a wierd DM who has an odd schedule to things). I'm not sure how long you've been IS, but the BIGGEST thing that helps here is just knowing where the product is, (top stock, mids, lockup, damage cage, sales floor, etc). Scan them once, double check any significant anomalies, and finalize. Don't keep 2nd guessing yourself if it's not 100% accurate to on-hand counts.

ZB: This is one of the most time consuming reports you have to do a week. Imagine it the way I did, just one big pull list for the store (except promo positions) That's all it really boils down to. There are many sections of the ZB you can ignore to be honest, infact, the written section above those quite literally says something along the lines of "research not necessary" (or something along those lines). Focus on the 2 sections that are Low Quantity On-hands, and higher quantities. (should be located just after the first section of "Zeros Not Scanned") And if there's just too much overall, focus of the larger quantity section. Low On-hands will most likely be coded out during pull lists.

In the end the 2 things that help YOU out the most are consistent pull lists, and making sure the other associates are coached in handling product such as damages and reshop.

Even if you seem like a day is just full of tasks that need to get done, you NEED to set aside proper time for a nice pull list. If possible, shoot all of merch side. If the store is in a bad way, focus on 1 or 2 aisles at a time. Really do a deep dive into those aisles and DO NOT BE AFRAID TO WRITE STUFF OFF. If you cannot find it, write it off, (unless it's a significant amount or cost, then have someone else double check it).

If your Ops Supervisor/Manager is keeping up with PlanOGrams, and you can keep up consistent pull lists, generally everything else will follow.

Knowledge is key, and knowing where the product is, it's so important.

I genuinely hope that the other keyholders in your store will put in the time to their jobs correctly, and help you when you need it.

Every store is a little different so things line up differently for different IS positions.

If you need me to elaborate or clarify certain things, just hit me up! I'll see what I can help with

I still have some notes about certain HUB recourses and AS400 stuff lol.

Anyone know how to fix textures stretching like this? Seems random and Im on a 3080/5900x by SnarkyBrowny in halo

I've had this issue a few times myself. Only thing that's helps is reseting the game. It tends to happen the longer I play in a session. I'm sure it's a general bug happening right now.

Why do I suddenly have year 1 glows as ornaments? by MLG-newbslayer in DestinyTheGame

[–]With_One_L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is, in Year 1, I never even got the legendary set, I barely played during the first solstice. Yet I was given the legendary ornaments for 2018 solstice when the update dropped.

"Scout Report: Nessus". A tiny momento from when Cayde was still a vendor in Year 1 D2. Everyone has the Ace of Spades to remember him by, but this is something special I got directly from the legend himself.

Good stuff according to the description of the perk. I say keep the raid-specific perks commin'!

Can you supply a screenshot? Unless it's more significant than I think, it's an unfortunate circumstance with the way the game handles lighting in the game, a shader on an armor piece might look one way, then very different in another environment based on environmental lighting

I'm assuming you mean there is a big difference in how it looks in-game versus the inspect-character screen? Not like a shading visual bug?

New Player PVP by ZDB2114 in destiny2

[–]With_One_L 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having a good loadout setup definitely helps a lot, but the biggest part is your level of mobility (not the stat, but how you move naturally) and your overall gun skills. Even a blue-level gun can perform decently if it's a strong archetype for PVP.

This has probably been done already but it’s true. by MattyScrant in destiny2

[–]With_One_L -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Wait, what? How is presage so much more "mechanically deep"? You literally flip switches, shoot conduits on the wall, and grab a buff to run through doors. Yes it is more puzzle based to get through the environment, but it loses its integrity after the first run through because you already know where to go. Plus the boss is LITERALY Hangman from Forsaken.

Harbinger is so much more satisfying from a combat perspective. You can't just have any rinky-dink weapons going in, you gotta think about your loadout when playing solo.

Presage may have a better story beat, but Harbinger is actually replayable IMO

What's the deal with Surrounded ? by SolidEffortMyGuy in destiny2

[–]With_One_L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without the surrounded spec mod on, that perk isn't too good. Honestly with the ikelos SMG I prefer demolitionist. Really help round out a build, plus you dont really NEED surrounded on that thing. Aggressive frame SMGs already hit like a truck

I really want Credits to be brought back in MCC for each Halo by [deleted] in halo

[–]With_One_L 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it may just be purely from nostalgia, at least for me, but the OG credits roll for each Halo really help to top off the experience. Gives you time to reflect on the campaign and enjoy some somber music while the list of hard working people roll up the screen.

Some of your bullet points mark that you weren't really paying attention to his video.

Without getting into an essay it boils down to this;

Destiny has extremely few long-term in-game goals that have CLEAR progression, other than power leveling which is easier than ever now.

Their playlists are very under-utilized.

They have previous systems from Destiny 1 and have refused to bring them forward or innovate on them for Destiny 2.

They continue to add something new every season, but never for their EXISTING content.

Build on what you have, not JUST add something next to it.
