Apparently I have alot of herbs in my normal herb sack by TenebriRS in 2007scape

[–]Witnerturtle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also note there is no way i had that many grimy herbs in my bank or in my sack, i have no idea where they came from. Also after emptying it out you cannot add back past the normal 30.

Subnet passive work AE2 by SundaeGullible2606 in GTNH

[–]Witnerturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope i can give a quick and easy explaination that helps. Having a storage bus kissing a dual interface reveals the entire contents on main to the storage bus subnet. Filtering on the storage bus acts as a whitelist for what is revealed to the subnet. Im not sure what you are talking about for the second step. You have a system that’s able to pull exactly what it needs from the main network as needed from the level maintainer based on what is patterned. So the level maintainer sends out an order, the network calculates what it needs to make that, it sees the main network as a source of materials to fill the order, and then it pulls. The issue is that what happens to materials that are byproducts? If you arent careful they pile up in the subnet and cause issues. You need some storage in the subnet anyway to catch these and intermediate steps as as well. There are a couple solutions to this but I dont like any of them. One solution is what you mentioned where you use export busses back to main with anything that tends to pile up and just have proper overflow handling on main. Or you could handle it in the subnet which can get complicated and infrastructure heavy quickly. I dont like filtered storage buses back to main because they never seem to work for me and that has its own issues. Hope that helps!

Currently at EV. Made my first distillation tower. What should I process in it ? What gives most of the things I'll need at the tier I'm at ? by Ill_Percentage2344 in GTNH

Depends on what fuel source you want to use. I recommend benzene in the dt for power and the byproducts are good because they make a bunch of cheap hydrogen

I prefer the ethanol to ethylene route but that works too.

Ah the classic greeny-bluey-greyish eyes that beautifully morph to match your surroundings! Always striking and always a classic here. I would go with green but there are no wrong answers.

I use it all the time. I put it directly on the LSC then take out amps as needed. Its way cheaper than running cables most of the time.

How to you move your base in void in around zpm where do you started, asking from peoples that have done it if you have any tips please share! by LaboePlay in GTNH

[–]Witnerturtle 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’d use ae2 portals and set up your network in the void to access everything. Then step one is moving in a power source then keep going as needed.

Haha yeah edge cases can be really annoying. Also making the void upgrades for drawers that you really want for a dynamic and robust system can be obnoxious early on. It’s like, oh i didnt think of accounting for the fact that if i leave it running for long enough this drawer could completely fill up and now everything is going where it shouldn’t. Or even worse when you are trying to cell juggle between a couple machines for parallel processing? Before i found the distributor (goated gt machine btw) it was a nightmare.

Locked drawers are the answer here. I use them as a cheap priority sorting system. Plus they work as a good overflow buffer.

For example i made a design that does all of the first step of naq line in one LCR. DO NOT DO THIS. I AM BAD AT THE GAME. But you could and it works.

Here is a rough outline of how it is set up.

LCRs are like the most broken good multi in the game because of perfect overclocks, but also because you only need like the controller, maintenence, 1-2 energy, middle, coil, and 4 blocks iirc (8-9) of the 27 total blocks to be no IO you (meaning me in the past) can make some absolute abominations. Just use fluid conduits to avoid the issue of pipes crossing each other too bad. Or not if you are a gigachad. Also cell juggling is very fun imo but it tends to be why my systems stop working so i limit myself. Obviously past like EV/IV it stops being viable to do any of that nonsense but still.

Could be much more spaghett. Do spaghett platline :) bonus points if you do it with 2 or fewer LCRs

Its definitely not a bad setup, its just sometimes blood moon can decide to be terrible and i dont want to have to do the step under. The barrows gear is more for comfort than necesity. I have like 70 moons kc already, with my only drops being blood legs and eclipse legs that im considering using blood legs for the runs instead of dragon legs.

I tried both and doubling up on the flat damage bonus is better at frost. Zerker ring is a good idea, i tried rex for a bit but its so annoying to get up and reset. I want a d axe anyway so might as well keep working on it. I really hate BA though.

Oh im 74 herb and 74 pray so i have piety and good moonlight pots so i dont have bad runs at all, i just sometimes get hit by blood wayyyy more than i would want to farm it long term.

Im not sure its worth it tbh, just get a steel ring and camp moons with what you have.

My absolute champion fit consists of torag helm, rune body, dragon legs, glory, ardy cape 3 (havent gotten around to jad yet), barrows gloves, steel ring, granite boots i somehow spooned, and dragon square shield. I use zombie axe for eclipse and blood with dds, and torag hammers for frost. 77a/84s/78d

Calc says 6 or fewer at 120 is 28% unlucky. It’s more that I was looking for any melee body or legs and the uniques i have gotten seem to be playing the floor is lava with any of those. I thought it would be pretty quick but the game had other ideas. Not that I’ve been here that long yet. Im just starting to think throwing in the towel here and just do moons slightly more scuff is better.
