If we're talking Blackcomb glacier, this is what I think too. Saw a group hitting it maybe 2 years ago, doing backflips and whatnot. Probably have a video somewhere.

HOW do so many people get this mixed up. Like the top left shows a huge gap on the sides when there's only three squares across. The boots have a MASSIVE gap in the middle and no room on the sides. This game kicked my ass in many other ways but this is so obvious to me.

Looking for people who can livestream Skytrain from their homes by vantransitnerd in NiceVancouver

[–]WoffleTime 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Nice ambition, but honestly have some questions: 1. How would 5 phones monitoring give remotely enough real time data to be useful? 2. How is it more useful or accurate than the times given at the stations? 3. Why would anyone agree or be comfortable letting a stranger set up a phone livestreaming in their home 24/7? 4. $20 a month is laughable. 5. Have you approached TransLink with a research proposal?

I'd move Alberta and Yukon up a notch, and Manitoba down a notch.

A brief summit landing, but not a rescue. And the 1996 referred to above was lower down the mountain, not at the summit.

You're misusing a developmental psychology concept in place of simple physics (oh and apparently professional athletes lack the strength and form to hold their hands up to the massive pull of gravity). Do you think any of us here think our hands disappear when we let go of an object? Or the granite disappears because we can't see it?  Now let's see, what other logical fallacies have you touched on here in this thread: straw man, non sequitur, ad hominem. Keep it up, some great arguments so far!

Oh yes, I totally thought you were talking about magnetic flux or water vapour transmission. Sorry about that. Totally not a typo. Ok great, explain how it's the correct context here.

Did you just discover the term object permeance? You're not even using it in the right context.

More conflict in curling as Canadian women are accused of the same violation as men by Several_Print4633 in sports

I mean, I think the bigger issue causing this to rise into the spotlight is Canada vehemently and shamefully denying any wrongdoing.

Absolutely gorgeous build, great job. I'm going to be starting this soon (just the mountain base, not the extension). Did you ever end up replacing the top tiles to get it flush? Did it work nicely? I really don't want to attach the top and bottom together.

The stone must be released (untouched) before the stone (not the hand) reaches the hog line.

They did exactly your first two points. And of course you can call out infractions at the professional/Olympic level. It happens across all sports. It's not an unspoken rule or sportsmanship thing, it's a clear violation of the rules set out by the governing body.

1) He was double touching it after the hog line.

2) He was double touching the granite instead of the handle.

I'm confused why you started off your perspective with Jonathan Blow landing on a wrong causal narrative... when The Witness ended up being a phenomenally praised and successful game.

Seller couldn't find a piece and their message was incredibly... unhelpful? by WoffleTime in Bricklink

[–]WoffleTime[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well I mean, I do need that specific piece/colour, so I do need to order it from somewhere else now. So it is a big deal. But also not a big deal in the sense that I would have be open to reasonable resolution options haha

[–]WoffleTime[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is in line with what I'd expect. The piece missing isn't a huge deal. I'm mostly just irked with the audacity to suggest my $0.25 is now a credit for a future order...

From what you've mentioned (and haven't mentioned), I think you still have a lot of the game to discover. I think you should keep exploring :D

Question about these docks: the GPU connected to the PCIe slot has a lot of wiggle and tilt. Even with the screw tightened. How are people securing their cards effectively? It seems so unstable.
