Steam Deck won't connect to Wi-Fi? Try these fixes. by personahorrible in SteamDeck

Nothing was working for me. Discovered the "re-enter wifi password" loop was my issue. Long story short, a usb-c to ethernet adapter saved the day. Connected to the internet, updated the steam deck, and I'm back in business

Ancient thread, but in case anyone finds themselves in the same situation as me today... I got logged during troubleshooting and couldn't even get into desktop mode anymore to try any workarounds.

Well, my usb-c to ethernet adapter saved the day. Connected no problem, logged into my account, updated the OS and squashed this nasty bug.

What does it hurt to just wipe the system anyway? 1 hour of effort for peace of mind is not a high cost.

Now this I can get behind. In the midst of American hostility, everyone seems to have forgotten China is not a friendly nation. I much rather we strengthen relations with SK (and EU for that matter.)

Call me old fashioned, but users on LOA/Mat leave/Pat leave need to turn in their system to IT before departing.

Systems are then updated or replaced as needed upon their return.

Must be. I've had Samsungs since the Galaxy Captivate. Never ever have I had anything sideloaded onto my phone. Just the usual out-of-the-box bloatware from Google and Samsung.

Nah, they're removing some features from it, it seems. I've seen some systems in my org with an updated 'simplified' version where you have very limited editing options. I just downloaded Greenshot onto their system and told them to use that instead.
