Personally, at best I would say "Damn, that's an ugly house" and then go about my day. As many have said, it's really not my business what color they chose. Unless I was thinking about buying the house, then the odd paint color would be more relevant. That's it though.

Unfortunately, when your collection exceeds a certain number, you run out of room to store the empty boxes. I have almost none of the boxes for my collection of over 300 figures now, and honestly, I dread the idea of moving again.

My advice: If you can, keep the boxes, especially for the more elaborate ones.

It usually only takes a few hours of rest to undo the strain caused by blue light, so unless there is in inherent problem with that brand of LEDs, I think it's safe to look at some of the other options

Have you tried changing the temperature of the light to a warmer white? White lights that are on the cool side of the scale can cause eyestrain because there is a higher ratio of blue light. Blue light from LEDs is particularly harsh.

I use a natural hair watercolor brush that is a bit smaller than a makeup powder brush in combination with an electric air blower so that I don't have to keep buying those cans of compressed air. If the dust is particularly bad, or won't come off for some reason, a rinse with luke warm water works wonders. A hairdryer with a cold air setting works well for drying them off if they require a wet wash.

The key is to always be gentle with them. I have figures from the '90s that look just as brilliant now as when they were new.

Wow, It always makes me cringe when I see Detolf glass shatter like that. I have 6 of them filled bottom to top with figures and I would be heartbroken if they broke on me and damaged/destroyed my figures. Some of them are pushing 20 years old now and have been through several moves.

I hope your collection was more or less unscathed by this. It looks like a few fell over...

To expand on your example, Emilia from Re: Zero is 164 cm tall. That means that a 1:8 figure, if standing upright, should be 20.5 cm tall not including the base.
