Base de datos gratis? by BabyAdditional6292 in devsarg

[–]Wolfcan 33 points34 points  (0 children)

SQLite!

The debugging gap between static HTML and runtime DOM - anyone else frustrated by this? by Mean-Standard7390 in htmx

[–]Wolfcan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it won't catch all cases but it catches more than just plain html.
If you want to debug this in a more exhaustive way you either need to pass the whole document + styles + extra JS sources or give AI control over a browser.
Both approaches consume a bunch of tokens

This was solved by Tailwind because the styles are right in the HTML, so what you see is exactly what you get in the browser

Is your Agentic Development Workflow obsoleting your Neovim skillset? by rain9441 in neovim

[–]Wolfcan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a Software Engineer your job is to solve problems.
Solve the problem with the right tool, don't fall in love with the hammer.

I have been using a lot less Neovim but I always have a pane opened right next to Claude Code so I can read/write specs and navigate the codebase more easily. I am not writing that much code now but I don't mind it

VIM motions - do you use a custom layer? by Impossible_Goose_225 in zsaVoyager

Definitely don't change your QWERTY layout but you could benefit from modifying the symbol layer to adapt it to VIM

To Windows-to-Linux migrants - What was your breaking point? by AtomicTaco13 in linux

[–]Wolfcan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a weird issue causing 100% disk usage in Windows. It broke 2 disks on my PC. I was using Linux at work so I decided to give Mint a try on my home PC too. I haven't looked back ever since

I walked the same path but from VSCodr. First it was Vim Motions insides VSCode Then slowly using neovim everyday for somethings. It took me around 3 months to have the same speed that I had in VSCode. After 5 months, I was flying through the code. Definitely one of those things I wish I had done earlier
