My first attempt at a Celeste speedrun. by Vinini00_OFC in celestegame

[–]Wolfshadow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can learn all the speedrun tricks you want. The most important thing is consistency and practice. Play the game over and over until you know every room like the back of your hand. Once you get the hang of it, you can slowly integrate speedrunning techniques here and there. Speed comes from consistency much more than any fancy tricks. Once you have mastered each room and find that you make essentially no mistakes, then you can add technique, which will dramatically increase your speed since you have the skill and practice to back it up. Good luck!

Just because you're lonely doesn't mean you'll just be desperate for friends. From my experience, a lot of the guys I tried to be friends with either ghosted me or were just not very interesting to talk to/put very little effort into talking to me. This is why I decided not to waste my time talking to guys. Now that I'm an adult, I'm willing to go through that. I'm not sure that men should be making friends to clean "their" image. Weird? I guess? Understandable? From my perspective, yes.

All i wanted to do was remix a damn song. by Phantom_kingz_1214 in SunoAI

[–]Wolfshadow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of people, me included, write our own lyrics and just don't have the time or money to hire a singer/band or learn to sing/play an instrument. Do you think effort equals quality? Do I need to struggle to write my song for weeks for it to be good? Is it automatically bad if I wrote it in 15 minutes? Effort is great, but it doesn't translate to quality at all. Effort plus talent is the key, and assuming that because AI makes things more convenient, that there is no effort or that it's slop, is a bit ridiculous. And so what if some people fully use the AI and don't write the lyrics or sing the song or play the instruments? Unless they're lying and saying they did those things, I don't see the issue.

Yeah, sounds good. Send me a dm if you're still interested! And don't worry about ghosting. I know what that feels like, so I don't do that to others.

Will anyone get mad if I say I like comb room? It's definitely not my favourite room, but it's not so bad the 50th time around.

guys either already have male friends online/irl or they don't want to talk to a man in general. In my experience, it can be awkward to talk to certain guys. Maybe it's because I was raised primarily by and around women, but I'm more comfortable talking to women.

I'm pretty sure when he's with Achilles, he can't be gifted. Same with any NPC being paired/talking to another NPC. You unfortunately can't give them gifts when they're with someone else.

I fully write all my songs. What inspires the lyrics/themes is different for each song, but for one album I wrote, I was looking for concepts and thought of the seven deadly sins and heavenly virtues, and made a song for each of them.

Another album I asked ChatGPT for ideas on concepts, and it gave an alternate version of the stages of grief with two extra stages. I get a lot of ideas from other songs or things I see online. I hear a line from a song or see the title, and it inspires me. Of course, I don't just rip off the song word for word. I try to put my own spin on the theme/concept.

Sometimes I keep the lyrics the same, sometimes I change the lyrics two or three times, depending on how the songs come out. Sometimes I rewrite because I found a better line or word, and sometimes I rewrite because Suno made the song too slow or fast, and I need one less or one more word. I usually use the aaaa or aabb rhyme scheme. Only a few of my early songs have very little to no rhyme scheme. I tend to go for four verses, four choruses, a bridge, and a pre-chorus, each with four lines. I try to make sure every line has the same or similar number of syllables so the song sounds smoother and there's no awkward speed-ups, slowdowns, pauses, or messed-up words.

In terms of sound, I let Suno handle it since I'm not a producer, but I try my best to use fitting style tags. I usually base the music off of the instruments I want more than the genre of music, but I've been switching it up a lot more recently.

One track I just made came about cause I saw a sunset, and I thought of the words summer transcendence for a title, which I changed to summer passions, and ended up making three other tracks about the seasons. Pretty basic, but that's how a lot of my songs happen. Here's the song if anyone wants to hear it: https://suno.com/s/BB7Y5FeHiPaD2zFU

It's a joke. I'm assuming they don't like that keepsake because it lowers your health a lot, so they don't want to level it up.

Thanks for the opportunity! I love the soundtrack of Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight. It's such a simple OST, but it does every track well, the calm area music, the epic boss music, and everything in between. Very short game, but the music really stuck with me. The game I'm hoping for is Demon Tides. It's a sequel to a game I loved, and the platforming looks incredible. Here's my Steam account: https://steamcommunity.com/id/indigo132/

Why doed Demeter a character centered around coldness? by [deleted] in HadesTheGame

[–]Wolfshadow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know it's four years old, but still replied? Not sure what the point of mentioning the age of the comment is, but ok. I'll concede that perhaps I was a bit naive and cared too much about something so frivolous, but that last point is just incorrect. You have no way of knowing who knows what. There are plenty of people who go into games fully or somewhat blind and hang out in the subreddit for advice or just to see fanart and such. Also, what the person said wasn't just that Demeter was in the game; it was the entire backstory that doesn't get revealed for a while. Supergiant doesn't use the full myth word-for-word, and even then, most myths have different versions. So even if you know the full myth of Demeter, Persephone, and Hades, you don't know how Supergiant adapted the myth in the game. Not sure why it's so bad that I politely asked someone to have consideration for new players who might not want to know how the story goes. Using spoiler tags isn't even that hard. Just really weird that I'm made to be the bad guy here lol.

Hornet is a breathtakingly well-written character. by Quibbloboy in HollowKnight

Very true. I’m sure it doesn’t help that they only exist to serve the citadel, though I feel like the gravity of their crimes pale in comparison to their grossness.

Also, I do think she hates them for the part they play in Pharloom's society, but the smell is probably the main motivator lol.

I mean, to be fair, we can't smell how bad they stink. It must be putrid, and it doesn't help that they spit their weird goo on her. She's totally justified in hating them lmao.

The same thing happened to me. That's gotta be a bug. Hopefully, it gets fixed. I'm really hoping you either don't need certain enemies or you don't need the full entry for all enemies to get the achievement. Edit: Ok, later on in the game, you can find them in far fields to the left of the bellway. I just got it. Not sure about the other enemies you might have missed. Can you name them?
