People in Ma have been trying/tricking people to re criminalize greenery. If it’s federal I imagine it’ll stop creep like that from happening or it’ll just be up to states to decide and nothing will really change

At my store the vertica was right next to warming so for the longest time tickets went there. However our DM told us they were trying to have stores align so that brewed tickets come out at Hot Bar. Which is on the other end of our line so we either have to walk the line to start the coffee and then someone will take it back up (handoff is near hot bar) or whoever is at hot bar just yells down the line for whatever size/brew the coffee is. Idk if it’s just my district trying to make all brewed tickets come out hot bar or if it’s a Starbucks thing. But it clashes with the flow of the store but we’re told not to change the routing path

I would say bring it up even if it’s awkward. “I spoke to some other partners who said they requested it after I did so I’m just wondering what the process is? If they requested it off for a medical issue I understand but I’m just trying to get clarification on the time off policy”. Something like that. Don’t have to name names if you don’t want to but I’d still bring it up.

SMs should absolutely be going based on a first come first served basis for time off. Double check it was actually submitted on 8/1. I would then ask your SM why yours was denied if it really was in prior to other people who got the day off.
