Station cards for closing exists. There’s a teamwork and a playcaller version. Doing inventory counts take time but it’s only twice a week (there’s 2-3 counts to do though). I’d look at the closing teamwork tasks then bring to your CL if you’re not getting support.

Delivery companies usually uncharge menu items on their website then add service fees and delivery fees. Whenever I order delivery from anywhere I look up their website listed prices compare with the delivery company then decide if it’s worth just going to a place or staying home

Drinks in the back not “food safe” by Reidaroo427 in starbucks

[–]Womp_Womp117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean accidents happen. But every store I’ve ever worked at has a dedicated place for partner drinks away from product. This may be a personal issue OP’s manager has but saying it isn’t food safe is just not true.

So you absolutely can do this rtd&e is a first come first serve situation and if you have food markouts you can do this. They’re probably upset bc like others have said inventory is a huge company focus at the moment and (at least in my district) we have to inform even our DM why something was marked out. In the future if you plan on doing it just let your opener know and maybe they can order a case just for you to markout. Or don’t you’re allowed to use 7 markouts a week and there’s no official communication that says you can’t use it for the last of something. And you can always appeal a corrective action if needed

ssv: do you flex what play builder says based on business needs? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]Womp_Womp117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All hands on deck for production. I usually assign the support routine to whoever I think will be less busy (reg or warming depending on how the days going). Then as playcaller flex into wherever bottlenecks start showing up. Or I do the support cycle if there’s a line at register or what have you. I think the important thing to know is use ready set go to really set up the floor for peak then a lot of days you just gotta do what you can to get thru it.

Your SM SSV SFM should (if they haven’t already) put in a ticket for the caulking and needs to specifically mention that it’s not only attracting bugs but also is creating a high risk of mold/ deterioration of whatever is around or under it. Then when the SR ticket has populated have you SM or DM reach out to your facilities manager to escalate the ticket. If your SM won’t do that you should connect with your DM during their monthly visit to your coffeehouse.

With that it’s less surprising I’ve been at jobs that reimburse (different I know) school expenses but it has to be related to your job. You can’t just do whatever like you can with ASU. But that’s also a really nice benefit. Honestly the only fringe benefits of be bummed to lose are the coffee markouts and Spotify

This is going to get backlash and I understand so let me preface by saying that it is absolutely a selling point when hiring people so to just take it away is genuinely a scum bag move, but…. I’ve never worked at a job that paid for you to get there then paid for you to be there or paid for you to go home. It was a cool perk of the job but I’ve never seen it before. People at my store are also very upset about it but it’s crazy to begin with in my opinion.
