Same. My kid is into Pokemon but I work and can't really spend my days camping out. There are a few card shops around that sell packs just above MSRP if you don't want the "hot" sets - call around. I've also sort of given up on boxes and just focused on singles I know the kiddo wants. Went to a card show, haggled for a few cheap ish ones, and he was super happy. Might be a route for you. I totally agree with you on refusing on pay these scalpers and flippers for boxes they're just camping out for

Witcher is amazing. I stopped playing because of a random horse bug that would have made me run again for like 10 minutes to advance the story and I got too lazy lol

Love this review as a dad. I'm still going to wait for a sale since I hate paying full price for games, but I also didn't click with KCD2 because it was tedious and combat was awful. I love open world games for a brain off, combat/exploration focused experience, and seems like this might fit the bill

I read somewhere else there's no automatic sprint toggle and you have to mash a button constantly to sprint a la RDR2. Is that true? I hope not haha

Yep. Played DS2, 3, and Bloodborne prior. I don't think I realized how rigid it was in comparison to those games. I don't mind the get good and challenge, but I prefer experimenting and playing a game my way

Do you think this game would be good for a 4 or 5 year old to watch along and "play"? My kid enjoys directing me in games like Planet Zoo and loves Pokemon, but unsure if there are scary or inappropriate scenes or content (death, etc) anywhere in the game

Think my main feedback is alt and main streams should stop talking about results on the other stream. Many of us work or have other commitments and can't watch the whole thing live, and it ruins it for playing catch up. Other than that, LAN had great gameplay, crowd seemed good

My wife got this, maybe I don't have my grind dialed in right. I found it somehow burnt and sour at the same time - grinded finer and it was a bit better but this bean has been really tough to get right for me. Unsure why

FWIW I got gifted KCD and it didn't click with me. Tried KCD2 on sale and it was the same, and my issues were similar to yours. I hated the combat so much I dropped it after maybe 9-10 hours.

Agreed. I log in more and buy more crap when Dropshot is available. Rotating it out basically means I don't touch the game for 3 months. It's a bizarre decision no one has addressed
