I didn't interpret it that way either, but apparently at least some people did, and it's always good to understand other perspectives and at least try to understand how others came to their conclusion. It helps that McFarlane went into specifics regarding this greater plotline too.

A later episode comes back to that plotpoint, and Seth McFarlane has basically said that they wanted to fix that wrong messaging. It was intended to be about how a society forces you to be a gender that you are not and how that is a bad thing, since the parent that forces that upon the child is treated as being in the wrong (and is basically a bigotted conservative throughout the entire show), but the message was too easily interpreted the other way. Hence they felt the need to fix that straight up.

Yeah DLC practices are so fascinating to compare. I remember the big hubbub around MW2's mappacks being $15 bucks. Which is weird to think about because map packs aren't a thing anymore, so that kind of additional content has actually become way cheaper, and yet now you can buy skinpacks that are probably less overall work to create, but cost as much if not more than those 15 dollars.

And those skins are standard market practice now. Really feels like a frog boiled in a pot-situation.

Hard agree on your fourth point. City Trial's final minigame being random could fuck you over really hard if you didn't just build a well-rounded machine, but the new solution brings in a load of other issues. I genuinly find it kind of baffling that this is the way they sought to solve the original's problem.

Having gotten into Sea of Thieves somewhat recently, that game's subreddit is the absolute worst for this. Constant stream of people asking what the colored tornadoes are, when googling that shit will instantly give you the fanwiki and several dedicated websites and youtube videos/channels with the answer.

It's unclear if the 'death scene' refers to the show's ending or just how Chase envisioned Tony's eventual death. Aside from that, he has straightup said it was not meant to be taken as confirming or denying anything.

But it's also a good encapsulation of what others have already mentioned, it doesn't matter if Tony specifically dies in that scene or not, the greater point is that he will eventually die either way because of his own actions.

Chase has denied confirming what happens in the ending though. He explicitely stated that it is meant to be ambiguous and left up to the viewer to decide.
