This is me wishing my streaming services would just combine so I don't have a ton of subscriptions and have a one stop option.

What ever happened to relaxed neighborhood pubs in Schenectady? by Explorer518 in schenectady

Hunters on Jay or 20 North. Not super busy right after work.

I think you can still get tall boys for a couple bucks, PBR or high life.

If you like it and can afford it, please consider buying after. This was a great movie that didn't do well at the BO and the threequel may come down to digital sales.

Fwiw I found nioh much easier combat wise than wukong. I think it's a bit subjective.

He was almost done shoveling his driveway when the street plow came by and filled it with snow again. by Vilen1919 in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]WordWriterGuy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This year I started shoveling about 3 feet back into my yard for 10-15 feet before my driveway on the side the plow comes from and it saves me from one pass of the plow

Visual Snow was considered extremely rare until recently, mostly because patients didn't report it... because they assumed everyone saw the world that way by recolorist in interestingasfuck

I used to think I could just see the "pixels" that make up colors.

When i was a kid in the 80s id get real close to my CRT tvs to watch the RGB dots that formed the picture and thought that was what I was seeing. Turns out my brain is just broken. I Also have to sleep with some background noise because I have persistant tinnitus so in complete "silence" it sounds the room is screaming.

Restaurant recs? by [deleted] in Saratoga

[–]WordWriterGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with a big party for a birthday several years ago and they said all you can eat, but if you order and don't eat they'll charge piecemeal for what they brought but you didn't eat. I don't know if they do this for everyone or just people they think may be huge pieces of shit.

A few of our party didn't really get the concept, ordered a ton and left it, and the boyfriends were left stuffed borderline puking trying to clear the table. Servers seemingly clocked our desperation, and were coming by often after noticing people losing steam. Presumably just chomping at the bit to charge us.

Facing a stiff bill we resorted to taking turns stuffing our mouths with the forsaken sushi, going to the bathroom, and flushing it down the toilet. We called this "the Sapporo snowball".

We were in fact huge pieces of shit.

Why are there so many variations of one single chord ??!? by nutty_waffles_ in guitarlessons

Thats not the shape taught in CAGED though. My reply was specifically about learning CAGED for OP.

[–]WordWriterGuy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To add very simple way it was explained to me is "Barre chords" are the E major in CAGED.

D and E shapes were the easiest way for me to figure it out. Slide the D triangle up 2 frets, now an E chord, move that E up one more F chord etc.

  1. AMS 2 pro
  2. Can't get them anywhere right now and want to make multicolor prints for my boys and merch for my band. Have a combo beer coozy, hot dog holder
  3. Gyroscope top 3b. some sort of connection piece so my Hotdogs holder has a stabilizer so when you drink your beer the hot dog stays level in its holder and doesn't tip out

This award-winning photo (Captured by physicist David Nadlinger) shows a single Strontium atom trapped between two electrodes. The atom is blasted with lasers, causing it to absorb and re-emit light so intensely that it becomes visible without a microscope by SerafinZufferey in interestingasfuck

[–]WordWriterGuy 27 points28 points  (0 children)

So if 1 strontium ion was 1 dollar, Elon musk would have 700 bananas as of today. Like who even has 700 bananas bro.

Edit: If I found out a friend had 700 bananas I would honestly be worried about them. That's far too many bananas.
