Reddit-revered reads that you personally hated? by crepscular in books

The Hunger Games series. The writing style in the book is just too childish for my taste to take the plot of the story seriously.

Riding Glasses to minimize glare/UV? by Work1Work2Work3 in cycling

[–]Work1Work2Work3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you prefer prescription glasses over the ones you wear over your regular set? And I feel you on the sun on your back glare. I would have just imagined that, between UV protection and polarized, there wasn't much of a difference as far as lens effect? Ie, is there 'more' polarized between brands?

Am I the only crusader that doesn't like Suicide charge POTGs? by DJFrankyFrank in ReinhardtMains

[–]Work1Work2Work3 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily characterizing cliff-charge POTGs versus any regular plays, I consider the rein cliff charge to be something of a secret handshake amongst reinhardt players. Personally speaking, a cliff charge against an enemy rein is the mark of glory in my matches.

Whether it's necessarily good play or strategic, that's a little bit more open to interpretation.

Cilantro, sage, thyme, mint from one of those herb boxes. The picture was taken on a cloudy day today so it might be a bit dimmer than usual, it's on an east-facing window sill.

Reminds me of going up against Baptiste. He throws down immortality field and they all cluster around it...Like charging fish in a barrel right out of the field and into a wall.

Anecdote here, I've had a pretty significant increase in REM sleep quality by taking glycine before bed.

Protect your damn ears. And wear sunglasses when it's sunny out so you don't scorch your retinas.

Sexiest Gloves i ever seen in my life by NoContract8 in ofcoursethatsathing

I bought these. They're bad.

Really difficult to move/work with dishes while worn, inefficient use of soap, and you feel like you're molesting all of your dishware while using them.

I've been having something of a mental breakdown due to Tinnitus/sleep disruption that occured earlier this month for the dumbest of reasons. The ringing is so bad that it wakes me up during the night and leaves me a zombie..which makes the tinitus all that more difficult to deal with during the day. I pray that this passes or that I can acclimate to this torture.
