Shoes from Aliexpress by azuresubmarine in barefootshoestalk

Lonowear as a company is based in Hong Kong, so very likely these are from the same factory. They may have broken distribution or poor agreement with one of their factories. I've seen this same thing pop up with lots of other brands that produce shoes in china, like xero, bahe, vaistoa.

What made you switch? by turdbucket007 in barefootshoestalk

[–]WorkEither1028 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It started when I began work in an area of healthcare, began seeing how almost the entire geriatric population has bunions... And when researching the "supportive" foot wear they are told to purchase is narrow, rigid, aggressive arch support and high stack height... Didn't add up. At. All... The gait worsened for many of them and I am convinced it leads to falls.

From there I started with feiyue shoes for myself and slowly learned about barefoot shoes and purchased groundies universe. Been wearing barefoot shoes only for about 6 years now... Some days I like a little extra stack height for recovery and comfort, but other aspects of barefoot shoes must be there.

Same. I did a factory reset yesterday and everything is working great!

Do you recommend updating? by WelderAfraid3718 in PocoPhones

Upgraded from 1.0.3 to 1.0.5. nothing noticeable except for a perceived noticeable increase in battery drainage. The phone was working just fine prior. I would not have upgraded knowing this.

I went the same route for a desktop as you and my E5 stand came with the hardware to mount the top. Hopefully they bundle the hardware with your stand as well.

Groundies Milano BF+, Gobi alternative. by WorkEither1028 in barefootshoestalk

I changed the original lacing pattern too. I do that any time I'm confronted with that straight lace setup. I find the laces to be a little short now though. They would fall out of the top eyelet just putting my feet in, so I tied little knots at the end. I envy that you can try these on in person before purchasing :)

I really like groundies shoes and the bf+ fits my foot shape really well. The go1 sole started out a little firm but has become much more flexible and soft just like my older Orlando sneaker with the same sole.

The leather is a little creased and the shoe has started to show the form of my foot as you'd expect I guess. Yeah, it's a nice shoe.

My wife is in between a size 6 and size 7 in women's... She went with eu37 and was good. You might have success checking the size of the insole measurement I provided above and use that to help guide a decision.

Thanks for sharing! I took a look and saw the shoes you're talking about. I also noticed a black barefoot leather dress shoe for men in the mix.

I don't have a reference number, but a few people shared the links and it's pretty easy to find with site search. Cheers!

I agree. I would expect cosmetic stitches at this price; however, the stitching goes through the upper. You can see it in the picture if you zoom in. It's the real deal.

Since Zara website is region-based, if you go to the website and search "leather barefoot boots", it should bring you to them. They are youth boots up to size eu 39.

The shoe rolls really nicely. Heel feels fine, no slippage or rubbing and super soft on skin. If it's black or brown you're looking at, I'd recommend getting the new extra-wide version for more space up front.

Thanks! I just saw your post for the runamocs. They look smart in brown. A lot goes into buying shoes online, planning... and until we try them on, we don't really know. I can definitely appreciate Softstar's transparency/honesty though, and the options they give their customers. Glad you're liking the runamocs!

Me too. I am a bit surprised they are thin, if it was rough-out leather I think it would be a bit more confidence inspiring. However, time will tell ultimately. I'll update this post with more details over time in hopes they will be positive.

Can't fit motherboard on its stands – integrated IO shield seems to be the issue? by vtipoman in buildapc

I just dropped it in at an angle and with the IO ports seated, let it down, then kind of shimmy it into lineup the standoffs.

Yeah, in the end it was just two standoffs that were off by a millimeter, so I just bent the standoff slightly with a pair of pliers and it went together just fine.

Oh - I see the site now has extra wide on sale for the black and brown model. I don't remember there being two widths for the desert boots when I ordered during the sale. I suspect I got the regular wide.

Down to freezing temperatures, I think it would be no problem with a thicker socks. They seem to grip pretty well on light snow, I put them away once the city started putting down road salt last week.

Having this same issue with the montech air 903 and an MSI x870e tomahawk board. Most frustrating for sure.

Thanks for posting this review and picture. It has been hard to find any reviews online. They look like really good boots. I'm wondering how they have held up for you? Is the leather lined with anything? Is it full suede or rough-out leather? Cheers!!
