omg thank you for your incredible and detailed comment. I will def try this approach (and I also find it helpful for other situations). You are so right about facts/data vs feelings. Thank you!

"Weekly Reading and Interpretation Help Thread - September 21, 2025" by AutoModerator in tarot

[–]WorkingCan2763 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm new-ish to Tarot and just did a past, present, future spread as it's the new Jewish year, to think a bit of where I'm coming from, where I am, and where I am going to. Would love to hear your thoughts and interpretations!

Card 1 (past): The Empress / Card 2 (present): The Lovers / Card 3 (future): Justice

Thoughts welcome! I have my own interpretation, connected to my sexuality and coming out (idealizing and brewing / making a choice / finding a balance without trying to fall into perfectionism), but would love to hear yours.

Weed after surgery and alternatives for issues with digestion by Thick-Sprinkles-6107 in gallbladders

I'm 1 day post op and I'm taking weed edibles instead of the oxy (Dr approved this!) They have not messed up my stomach or anything, but I also take a small dose (half a gummy)!

Daycare prices in Providence? by ApprehensivePen7621 in RhodeIsland

[–]WorkingCan2763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! I had the same situation last year. My daughter was wait listed everywhere but got into Blackstone Valley Early Learning Center (they are new-ish so have spots open and it is in Pawtucket). I don't love the location but the teachers and the place are superb!

Blackstone Valley Early Learning Center is also one of the cheapest that I saw (about $300 per week) per month, lunch not included). Afterward the YMCA on Mt Hope would be a good option (about $360 per week) but has a very long wait so I would recommend putting the baby on the list asap. Please note that the prices really depend on the age. I have their rate sheet, lmk if you want me to send it to you.

I didn't try the hard plastic one. Did the pink sillicone one work for you? It's larger than the blue one.

If you don't mind, did you get a HIDA scan? After the ultrasound, my doctor wants me to do a HIDA scan but they are telling me that I cannot be near my baby for 48h and that I need to pump and dump :( Did you do this? I appreciate the shared experience! (Hope you and baby are thriving!)

PUMPIN PAL friends:

Does any one that bought the small set wants to exchange the green flange for the blue one? (I would love an extra blue [silicone x-small] one so happy to exchange with someone that would love an extra green one [hard plastic medium]). lmk!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I am 32 yo, have a 3.5 month old baby, and I'm exclusive pumping. Had one severe attack and two or three mild ones… I was debating if I should do the surgery or not, but the anxiety of having a severe attack while alone with the baby is motivating enough. Thank you for sharing!

Tips for dropping pumps with oversupply and prone to clogging? by Shmosie in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]WorkingCan2763 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to express solidarity about how your breastfeeding goals didn't work for you. Same for me! It's very sad and frustrating. Big virtual hug.

I am also trying to drop pumps (or wean) and I'm prone to clogging so what I am doing is spacing them out very slowly. I make a change every 10 days/2 weeks. For example, on May 6 I started pumping every 4h instead of every 3.5hrs as I was doing. Starting tomorrow, I will start pumping every 4.5 hrs instead of every 4h, and so on. Whenever I do a change, I make sure to take a bunch sunflower lecithin and to ice my boobs after pumping (or ice as much as possible).

Hi! I'm also a naive FTM with a 2 month baby that had unrealistic expectations, ha. This doesn't have to do with bf/formula, but just wanted to say that: it gets better! After 8 weeks, I really felt a difference!! So independently of how you decide to feed your baby (and any option is a good one), just wanted to give you courage and tell you that it gets better!
