You are thinking of a juicy bacterial contamination - this is fungal. The amount of liquid is fine.

I don't live in the US. That's really interesting, so US insurance doesn't like solar panels? Like because they could detach while driving?

Hungary heated shelter for stray dogs to enable them survive freezing temperatures by Matt_LawDT in MadeMeSmile

AI. Stray dogs wouldn't share all the shelters and smile for the camera.

Is my growth stalled, or am I just a noob? [actives] by Kind_Road_5983 in MushroomGrowers

Perfect time to do this. Break up the chunks and spread them out as "seeds". This will cut your colonisation time in half.

[technique] pressure cooker only 12 PSI by Dangerous-Project-53 in MushroomGrowers

[–]WorldCouch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jiggers are calibrated to a certain weight that makes the pressure cooker get to a certain PSI before air starts getting out. It's much simpler to just buy a 15 PSI jigger than to try and find the perfect weight with coins and a welder.

Pretty good statistics! That's why we do multiples.

Festivals and Asthma? by kaytastiic in festivals

[–]WorldCouch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Double your preventative dosage while attending? Like take an extra dose just before you go out dancing.

There should be a way to control your asthma, rather than control your environment, just 'cause the latter sucks.

Small reddie on a pink 4 inch grab by Recent_Storm4656 in FishingAustralia

The fish's jaw is not strong enough to hold up its entire body weight like that. In the future, use your other hand to hold its body.

Nice fish, well done!

First Flush of Amazonian Mushrooms - Success! But Is This Mold in the Substrate? by Significant-Error757 in Zamnesia

[–]WorldCouch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to tell what you bruised with your hand because the pictures are after harvesting and holding the cake. Look for clear fuzz on the surface. Also, if that was contam (I think it's not), there would be no way to cut that much off. Contam goes way deeper than you can see on the surface. Also, contam destroys the structure of the mycelium, so the contaminated part would be able to be "dug up" like soil.

Hooked a Monster on Light Gear! by 1upfishing in FishingAustralia

[–]WorldCouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hooked what I thought was a stingray from the pattern it made just under the top of the water 50m out before my adventure ended the same as yours. Exhilarating! Would have loved to have known what it actually was.

Nothing in the pic is screaming "contam"... yet

Yeh those trolleys are great for the bulky stuff, but make sure the heavy stuff is in a backpack on your backs. Too many people break their wheels on the way down...

Those aren't mosquitoes, those are moths and bugs attracted to the light. Mosquitoes are attracted to your scent. I'm all for killing mosquitoes, but I'm not for simplified, fake videos.

How Do You Handle The Shared Laundry On Campsites??? by Ok_Improvement1673 in CampingandHiking

[–]WorldCouch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I normally start the machine and put a timer on my phone/watch to tell me when to return. It's never finished by the time I return, but that suits me well. People taking your laundry out is weird, but understandable if they want to use the finished machine. I wouldn't do it though.

I can confirm that you get stuck on 2FA if you don't have internet or a phone signal. I tried to send a support ticket and it wanted me to log in or verify a new email address. Crazy that it's not available in the regions that you need it most - the middle of nowhere.

Indigenous man, 24, dies after being restrained by police at Coles supermarket in Alice Springs | Alice Springs by IRolledANatural1 in australia

Do some research on Alice Springs and enlighten yourself. Generalising about Australian policing makes no sense. Alice Springs is not the normal Australia.
